Did anyone see this case on Crimewatch (Noel Martin)? I find this robbery awful but at the back of my mind, i can't help wondering if there's more to this than meets the eye. The gang obviously know the shift patterns but why follow the carer home, why not just wait outside the house? I'm hoping that there's nothing sinister to this crime.

Mr Martin is a paralyed Birmingham man was threatened at gunpoint by robbers who had kidnapped one of his carers and forced her to let them into his home.

Noël Martin (1959, Jamaican born British), is a prominent Neo-Nazi victim who was attacked by German Neo-Nazis in 1996. He lives in Birmingham, England. At the time he was attacked he was one of the many British and Irish construction workers working in Germany.

On 16 June 1996 in Brandenburg, the former East Germany, he was attacked because of his dark skin by Neo-Nazis. A block of concrete was thrown through the windshield of his car and Martin's car veered off the road and struck a tree.
