From 2.22 in the above interview Gerry McCann readily concedes that stranger abduction represents a100 million to one chance??

Is it little wonder therefore that so many people don't believe them?

They were Gerrys words not Carlys!

He is responding to Ian Woods who asked him what they would say to other parents....Gerry goes onto say they have tried to put it in perspective

Eta the whole context starts from 1.48....

For a child to be abducted from the bath of a ground-floor flat while the whole family is in is still rarer.

It happened.

Peter Voisey is in jail for the crime.

The little girl (mercifully) survived her ordeal and was reunited with her family.

Gerry's point is that such instances are (mercifully) rare.

They are!

They must be because for six years I have been asking supporters to point me to an example of a similar abduction to Madeleine's which has ended happily and have yet to receive an answer.
