hi found this forum,looking at miscarriage of justice,as I was in prison a few years ago with a man doing a life sentence,and read all or most of his paperwork,and found it really disturbing what goes on behind the scenes ,with judges prosecutors and police,and what they will agree between each other to gain a conviction

welcome to the forum.

If the bloke you were banged up with was guilty, then im glad the prosecutors, police and so on work together to make sure they stay in prison, rather than him being freed on some technicality.

The Jeremy Bamber case is a good example, for me when you read between the lines the guy is clearly guilty of murdering 5 members of his family yet his supporters never stop whinging that there is a conspiracy to keep him inside.
Perhaps there is a conspiracy (EP destroying evidence?), I dont know, but if there is then its a benign one to keep this total s..mbag behind bars for the rest of his life, where he should be.

hi Steve I don't think they are guilty,they were identified by voice,by one witness who had been arrested with a shotgun ,revolver and drugs,who said he would only give evidence if he dident get jail himself,and from the transcript in the judges chambers,the judge agreed to sentence him to a non custodial sentence,first thing next day before any members of the press were likely to be in court

Yes the good old cellmate confession what a load of old bollocks.
A few years ago Gordon Park was convicted of murdering his wife in the 'lady in the lake' trial, part of their case was that Park confessed to his cell mate, who I seem to remember was a dubious witness at best but the jury bought it.

There was compelling circumstantial evidence about the types of knots that were used to tie body with, and the tile that he used to weigh body down matched one from his house and was uncommon, or something like that.

You are right about a conspiracy between police and CPS etc. I was arrested and convicted of harassment because of unproved allegations by a 'neighbour from hell', who had harassed my elderly mother and the stress caused her to become ill, go onto medication which caused side effects and led to her premature death
I had to give up my own house and move back to look after her for a while until she entered a nursing home and died in 2012. They then started on me, but I can stand up to them, only for them to keep making complaints to the police about my two dogs and an intruder alarm which I installed to protect my property while I spend the winter at my villa in Spain. I was accused of monitoring them and coming out on my drive to harass them when I was merely working on my private drive.
They chose to build a house without access, so they have to use a driveway owned by a third party which runs alongside the whole length of my third acre garden. Naturally, my dogs hear them and barkto let me know someone is near my property, so i don't need an alarm to tell me they are there, yet I have been ordered by the court to remove my security alarm and have been given a lifetime restraining order against contacting them either directly or indirectly. How can I be expected to comply, when it is them who have to come past my property and they are confronted by me when I am on my private driveway?

In many cases it comes down to Pals Law when it comes to the police and CPS taking action. Corruption and illegality is widespread within the legal community.
