Given that I said I would not provide a cite, why do you ask?

I would say it's more you cannot provide a cite

If only you were as hopeful that the child had been found instead of the parents absolved.

I would simply like to see the case solved.... wouldn't bother me in the slightest if the parents were guilty....I just don't see it as a reasonable possibility

At what point, if ever, will you understand what I say? I don't know what the police are investigating and neither do you. You are peddling a belief, not a fact.
What is a fact then, if every fact can at some point in the future be revised?  It is a fact that the police have said the McCanns are not suspects, it is a fact that there is no evidence at all to show that the McCanns are under investigation, quite the contrary, there is evidence that the police decided specifically NOT to reinvestigate them.  When one reviews the evidence one is allowed to draw conclusions without necessarily having the full facts at their disposal.  There is far more evidence pointing to the fact that the McCanns AREN’T being investigated than evidence pointing to the fact that they are.  And that’s a fact!

Because he has nothing else to contribute ?
Insulting.  I have asked for evidence of PJ activity in investigating the case.  We have been informed that a simple google research will reveal all and I was simply asking for confirmation.  You may think it’s OK to insist something is a fact and then refuse to back it up sith a cite, but I believe that is against forum rules.

That is the most accurate observation regarding this whole thread- every thread is about defending the parents even when their behaviour is noted as being inconsistant as parents whos daughter was abducted by 'paedophiles' according to the parents.
.
Utter hogwash, IMO.

I don't see any evidence of the parents being investigated but plenty of them not

No it isn't.
What evidence is there that the McCanns are currently under investigation?

I have no problem with being proved wrong...I'm simply going with where the evidence points at the moment
