Happy to be here from HiDeHo

Hi all!

Thank you so much John for admitting me as a member.

I saw the recent issues with Kate McCann's book and wanted to offer my support, but as it turn out you have been kind enough to give me a 'voice' in here on behalf of Madeleine.

I first became interested in the case after it had happened. I live near Toronto Canada and we don't hear as much about the case as UK.

I managed an Ex Pats forum and they brought it to my attention.  I do not like to form opinions on anything until I have researched and have knowledge to enter into credible discussions the rest is history!

That was then...this is now....

Originally I found myself repeating myself endlessly on the different forums and decided to use a forum to 'file' all the information and to keep some of my posts handy if I needed to repeat them.

Once the Official Portuguese Police files were released in July 2008,  http://www.mccannpjfiles.co.uk/  they were gradually (voluntarily) translated by some very dedicated people and I started to compile the statements into timelines and tables to be able to spot the discrepancies.

All (or many) Timetables

Before I knew it I was referring others to my 'forum' and it became a reference forum to help researching different topics. Each time I found something of interest I would add it to the appropriate topic to avoid having to search  every time.

Remembering Madeleine McCann Reference Forum

About two years ago, I became frustrated with the 'spin' from the McCann interviews and news articles.  We knew there was a response to what was being claimed but we had no voice.

I made an effort to become that voice on behalf of everyone.

I started creating videos that took the details being claimed ("no evidence' etc) and added details from the files to counteract those comments.

Two years later I have compiled over 179 videos about the case, some of them taking more than 70 hours to compile but I try to ensure that every detail can be backed up with references to the police files or media comments.

I have been a member of the 'Madeleine' forums for the duration (nearly six years) and now admin a Facebook group which is based on giving the opportunity for everyone (including the UK public) to view the details from the files and, if a member, join in discussions. The group is open to view so no need to join to see the discussions.

Madeleine McCann CONTROVERSY Reference Forum (under construction)

We recently had an 'issue' which resulted in one of our members posts, in a thread that was based on (maybe inapropriate) hilarity being sent to the media and was featured on the front page of the Express ('gun' threat to Kate running the marathon) As is usually the way, I was not available to monitor the forum that day and it was left for view long enough to be copied and 'used'. (There WAS no issue of a threat, it was a silly comment)

However, after the issue with the link to Kate McCann's book I offered my support and...here I am!

Thank you and appreciate the add!

Welcome, Liz.

Nice to have you here. You have certainly done your homework regarding this case.
Can i ask what, in your opinion, do you think happened to Maddie?

Thanks Andrea!

My opinion may be very different to many people that have followed the case and probably outrageous to anyone just learning the basic details, but I have studied and researched the files during the hundreds of compilations/timelines/discrepancies that I have done and have an overall 'picture' based mostly on the discrepancies (that many are not aware of)

I believe there was an 'accident' early in the holiday (between Sunday and Tuesday)

I came to this 'conclusion' gradually.

I always felt something happened earlier than Thursday night as there were MANY discrepancies for Thursday morning and one has to ask WHY would there be so many discrepancies (over and above 'memory' issues) if it was  the holiday that they try to convince us it was.

I then saw discrepancies emerge for Wednesday, and then a lot for Tuesday.

I remained believing Tuesday, as the mini tennis coach had claimed Madeleine's group played that morning.

I then studied all the witness statements that claim they 'saw' madeleine during the holday, and, although none prove she WASN'T there, none of them prove she WAS! They all describe a girl with a very different personality (shy) than is known for Madeleine (one of the other Tapas children was shy...unlike Madeleine)

Miguel Mattias, owner of a restaurant that the T7 (McCann friends) went to the afternoon of Madeleine's disappearance was convinced that Madeleine was there 'dancing'  with her  father. CCTV pics subsequently show that the McCanns were NOT there and the child he was convinced was Madeleine was probaly another friend's child. PROVING that it is possible that others could be mistaken also)

Along with the fact that the photo released to help in the search was of a much younger Madeleine, their camera had the last picture of her taken by the pool (supposedly that day) so WHY didnt they release that picture?  It was not released until three weeks later after Gerrys return to England and has been the subject of lengthy discussions as to whether it was photoshopped.

Apologies, I tend to go off on tangents!

Anyway, the last credible sighting was from the McCann's cleaner's daughter who saw the family outside their apartment on Sunday lunchtime.

If something DID happen to Madeleine earlier in the week it would account for many of the curiosites (eg no DNA in apartment..Gerry McCann had to return to England to obtain a pillowcase with Madeleines DNA on it)

Whether earlier in the week or not, a CADAVER dog alerted to several places in the McCann's apartment (end July) and with an undetermined amount of time for the odour to develop (some believe up to 90 minutes) there would not have been time from the time the McCanns left the apartment (8.30pm) until the time Kate checked and found Madeleine missing (10.00pm)

My belief is that they DID check on the childen but once it was deterined to create a faked abduction they NEEDED to claim they left the children alone to allow for the possibility of an 'abductor' to get into the apartment.

That night was not about checking the children it was about creating the simulated'abduction'

Many people suggest they were afraid of being charged with 'neglect', but all the apartments were close and at least one of the group most (if not every) night did not go to the restaurant and could have easily claimed they were watching the chidren...but they didn't...and one has to ask WHY?

This video may explain how Gerry INSISTS they didn't check the children often!

There is a major difference between knowledge and propaganda. HiDeHo specialises in videos with biased opinions, silly music and unfounded beliefs that do not equate to knowledge, merely to an exhibition of prejudices. Every video is riddled with errors.

They are also very difficult to watch. Somebody has obviously spent a lot of time putting this drivel together. What motivates someone to do this?

An excellent question! An obvious answer!

Might I just say how offensive I find this sentence in your opening post?

"I saw the recent issues with Kate McCann's book and wanted to offer my support, but as it turn out you have been kind enough to give me a 'voice' in here on behalf of Madeleine."

Do you have Madeleine's permission (or permission from her parents to post on their child's behalf?  In my opinion you are doing no such thing. You are clearly a very obsessive individual who has posted many hours of video on a case which actually has nothing to do with you except as an interested party on the outside of the case.

When people start to imagine that they are posting on behalf of a missing person then that is suggestive of an overly ripe imagination or a rather obsessive nature.

Surely you didn't think that you could come here, post links to some seriously dodgy videos and have us all believe that Maddies parents 'dun her in'.

If you are going to make such outlandish, insensitive and hurtful claims on the Internet, at least have the balls to qualify them.

Oh My.  But clearly she did.  Think that, that is.
