Long term campaigner against injustice. Appalled that McCann case [ censored word] who ignore the findings of UK and Portuguese Justice systems that the McCanns and associates have no legal case to answer. Surprised that their intemperate and illiberal views bound to encourage miscarriage of justice are not being logically challenged here. These people are po politically and philosophically your opponents being believers in extra-judicial punishment and advocating findings of guilt with insufficient evidence.

Hallo, Debunker.  I am a Newbie too.  Hope you like it here.  I am following The Bamber Case, although possibly a bit late for that.

I have followed many such cases from a liberal skeptical stance from IRA miscarriages in the seventies to date. I believe strongly in absolute rights and am dismayed by how the system has been manipulated over the years to meet perceived public bias- majority verdicts, limitations of defence rights, jury choice manipulation etc. Not to mention virtual trials by the media and more recently the internet.

I do agree.  That's why it was good to come to a Forum that believes Miscarriages of Justice do happen.
