he isnt going to confirm anything

well there is a turn up for the books- apparently he is not going to confirm suspects but supporters in particular claim OG are adamant that the McCanns are NOT suspects... even though they havent even mentioned what crime has been commited.

They obviously mean paedophile abduction and the parents are not suspected of paedophile abduction. well that  IS ONE FOR THE BOOKS!

Roll up! Roll up! read all about it! parents are not named suspects in paedophile abduction of ther daughter.

He wasn't you mean, he was the last one to comment on what was happening and I'd venture no one else will until the fat lady sings.
Who is this fat lady you speak of?  https://youtu.be/HXVn86Cu0i4

You have obviously missed the ‘might’ in my post. I have not stated Brech as a suspect. I have put my personal theory on the forum, hoping open-minded members will constructively contribute. And so what if I think the parents had nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance and that she might be alive? I guess your next reply will be ‘semantics’.
If you think this then people like Miss Taken will consider  you fully worthy of mockery, scorn and contempt.  Welcome to the forum!

I have deliberately not taken part in any discussion unless I had something to contribute. For very obvious reasons, I have not communicated what I have sent to OG, on this platform. If I am offensive, (your words), why are you so defensive?

I am sorry you feel this way.  Everyone has a right to express their case related views here without fearing any sort of backlash providing those views do not break the laws of the land and/or the forum rules set out on the homepage.  Anyone who feels this is not the case is encouraged to use the 'Report to moderator' function or pm me in confidence.
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

I am entitled to disagree with what people post. I am not the only one. Perhaps you see me as a willing victim of such public  display of rants- that would be a mistake.

I see VS has taken to giving me a charachter asassination  (gosh so surprised)if he had put 'Hmm' in his post it would have been deleted! Apparently.

Perhaps Holly will delete  those two posts since we now have rules against such goading, sniping and bad mouthing members AND taking the thread of course! etc.

What has the newpapers got to do with this conversation?

You made the statement, I asked for your source. you ignored it, now you are claiming you got it from newspapers? really.. and where did they get this story from if OG are not talking about it?

Again please quote the direct source which OG Staff member tells the newspaper.

“For attention: Miss Taken Identity

These comments were in most newspapers and on television across the globe:

“Reportedly, officers have closed in on a man who was in the Algarve when the British child went missing in 2007. Local reports state that British and Portuguese police are getting ready to investigate a "new clue and suspect."

“Madeleine McCann cops in Portugal are ‘probing NEW suspect’ as fresh clue offers hope for missing youngster

Correio da Manha newspaper claimed local detectives are now "nearer to knowing what happened to Madeleine”.

It comes after a tip-off over a mystery "foreign" man who was in the Algarve at the time of Maddie's disappearance in 2007”.

Detectives from Scotland Yard recently met Policia Judiciaria (PJ) officers in Porto to share key information on the investigation”.

Yes I agree, the stories went global. However, we do not know the direct source of these stories. That is the point I am making.

The PJ have never claimed they have a suspect and named them- the McCanns were already a global story and were followed and encouraged by newspapers to tell them what is going on. at that time. However, years later, the sightings and suspects have been told to newspapers by 'sources close to the family' family friends' and the parents spokesperson who is being kept informed by OG and PJ.  The PJ  would not release names  years after. In fact The PJ have never mentioned they have changed ther position regarding abduction.

Yes, absolutely. Since May 2007 the rhetoric of “according to someone close to the investigation ...”. was in existence. The PJ initially did selectively leak information/disinformation, especially to Sandra Felgueiras (spelling), a local news reporter and journalist.

If we are discussing someone's character unless we were trained psychologists we would be hard pressed to say anything was the truth.  It might be better described as humble opinion.

Someone has asked where the person I suspect of being involved, spots are. A tube of insect repellent (Baygon) has been found (circa 2010) at the dilapidated building across the church in PDL. Other items such as clothing, matches, tupperware were also present. Is it possible that someone occupied this building during the week of the disappearance and had to buy/or brought with, Baygon to keep insects away?
