I suppose I could leave her home alone.

You are pre-supposing any abductor(s) have immediate/extended families and if so they wish to maintain contact.  If they did then I guess its a case of where there's a will there's a way.  If MM's abduction involves a couple then they could probably get away with the usual Christmas get-togethers by saying the other was unwell with one attending and/or on some occasions they have decided to take a winter break (in a Schengen country).  Once the initial media attention died down and MM's physical appearance changed through normal development a nanny could be employed from some far flung place.  If the couple have a plausible story and seem respectable there's no reason for anyone to suspect anything.
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Surely you must admit this scenario is a bit far fetched?

It all sounds rather far fetched to me. What a way to live.

Well there doesn't seem any doubt MM disappeared from PDL?  So my theory covers how I believe she was abducted: abductor entered via unlocked patio doors, staged window and shutter, scooped up MM, exited front door and placed in nearby waiting car and drove off.  Courtesy of Schengen agreement abductor(s) had access to roam pretty much unfettered.  The lifestyle of my suspect(s) at the time of abduction would allow for a period of lying low until the dust settled and then allow for MM to be incorporated into a 'normal' lifestyle.

So your story has a happy ending for Maddie?  No child killers/paedo gang/sex slaver/traffickers/forced marriage/illegal adoption/sold by gypsies?

What a relief!

"I suppose I could leave her home alone"

Yes! but what if she were abducted from that loving family- OMG the thought of it.

Holly, if the police thoroughly investigate this person and don’t find Madeleine will you accept that or will you think they forgot to look for a hidden dungeon?

In what way do you consider it far-fetched?

As I said I have identified who I believe abducted MM.  Based on the age, own family set up at time of appearance,  work and general lifestyle of the perp(s) I think it is possible they have been able to raise MM as their own with relative ease.

How have you been able to investigate this individual’s background, family set up and general lifestyle?

A thorough investigation and an overlooked hidden dungeon would not seem to go hand-in-hand.

I can't be certain the perp abducted MM to raise as his/her own.  The motive may have been to carry out some assault and then dispose of but I think (and hope) it is the former.  The other possibility is that the perp may have intended to raise as own but given all the media attention may have panicked and did something they did not intend to do.  Another possibility is the perp abducted MM with some misguided idea about teaching the McCanns a lesson for leaving the children alone in an unlocked apartment and intended to return MM but again felt unable to do so given the media attention and may have done something they did not intend to do.

On a scale of 1 -10:

How sure am I my theory is correct : 9
How sure am I that I've identified perp(s) : 9
How sure am I about motive to raise as own at time of abduction : 8
How sure am I MM is alive and with perp(s) : 8
