Compared to how the police referred to the mccanns they have every right... Cite for local priest... That's s pretty. Serious allegation

Did the police call them names? Cites please.

Recollections of Kenny Everett in the guise of his singing pastor, Brother Lee Love, would often spring to mind in the
coming weeks. [madeleine]

How close do your neighbours live to Oxford?

And what do their accents have to do with PF?  Or the label Kate chose?

What does the queens English have to do with Oxford... It's spoken throughout the UK.. Including in most well to do neighbourhoods... Her acccent was plummy imo... What's your problem with every single word Kate says... It doesn't have any hidden meaning as you seem to think

Didn't the police describe them as praying like Arabs.... And judged them to be lying about what happened

Sounds plummy to me... I live in a well off area... None of my neighbours talk like that

A person's accent isn't necessarily related to earnings; it's more likely to be related to breeding.

No they didn't, that phrase wasn't used by the police.

It's part of the job of a policeperson to work out who is telling the truth.

The Portuguese police never called the McCanns names.

Doesn't really make any difference.. Praying like, Arabs and lying to cover up their child's disappearance... It's the police job to gather evidence... It's not up to the police to act, as judge and jury

But she didn't need to refer to GNR/PJ as Tweedledee and Tweedledum in her b..k.  She could just as easily have said they didn't fill her with confidence; she felt they were out of their depth etc.
She didn't need to but she did because that is what she thought of them - her book, her terms.  You don't need to refer to Kate's "book" but you do it for your own amusement and to wind people up.

You have taken that quote entirely out of context.  Kate expressed love of the father and his 'joie de vivre' not the ridicule as you suggest.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Where did the Portuguese press pick up the word "swingers" from?

Who leaked the contents of Kate's diary to pejorative effect if not the police who had the only copy?

I don't have any issue with Mrs Fenn's accent, but it would appear you feel the need to make a meal out of it.

Most people will understand Queen's English and Oxford English, just they would Glaswegian or Liverpudlian, or a host of other regional accents.

Kate's book makes it clear that Mrs Fenn offered a quicker way to call the police.  That her offer was rebuked does annoy me.  Madeleine appeared to be bottom of the pile of interests, for whatever reason.
What's up, old man?

none of that has any relevance to kates comment of "plummy" ....i dont but you do.....As far as Gerry was concerned the police had already been called ...imo you just dont seem to be in full posession of the facts.

you posted this..
It's interesting that Kate chose to describe her accent as plummy

could you supply any reasonable explanation of why you find it interesting....
