Lol as you said 'crank'!

I don't think you are in a position to refer to anyone as a crank... LOL

Can I ask why you persist in referring to Kate’s book as a “book” when you know it annoys some members of the forum?  Do you have a problem with people from Liverpool and how they speak?

No need for anyone to get annoyed by my style of posting when a clear choice exists: read/don't read.

Anyone who reads my posts will know the North/South divide is part of my repertoire!
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

I am annoyed, can I put you on ignore Ms Moderator?  I thought the role of a moderator should include not winding up members of the forum deliberately?

I find you continued use of the word book quite childish.  I find your belief you have solved the case when you obviously
haven't quite childish... I cant take any of your posts seriously... I wonder if others feel the same and that is why the forum has gone so quiet

As I said up thread no one needs to read my posts when a clear choice exists: read/don't read.

If you're so concerned about how others feel/level of activity on the forum then why not undertake a poll in an attempt to determine?

Why can’t you just refer to the book by the word book?  Is it your intention to get some peoples’ backs up?

I'm not concerned in the slightest... I find it all quite laughable

Do you really think the McCanns care if they and/or their children are referred to by their initials?  Likewise for KM's book?  The McCanns have lost a child in tragic circumstances; many people on and offline think they accidentally killed their daughter and covered it up; they are involved in a costly and exhausting legal battle.  Please put my "childish" comments into perspective.

As a scouser, whilst I don't take any of your stereotypical references to heart, you are way off the mark. We're not the Harry Enfield devices that you refer to and the north - south thing is barely mentioned - it's not the 80's.
The 'plummy accent / south of the Watford Gap' reference is also off the mark. We perhaps hold a more derogatory stance with the occupants of the towns directly around Liverpool than we do with anyone else.
But crack on, you seem to have your finger on the pulse of 1987

This isn’t about the McCanns, it’s about your role as a moderator.  Would it be ok for Brietta and Eleanor to continually refer to Amaral as Amaral deliberately to wind up sceptics?  Yes or no?

ETA, haha, the forum autocorrect has answered for me.  It is not permitted to refer to A M O R A L as it winds up his fanclub.  I suggest we ban “book” because it is a deliberate goad, or re-permit the use of all forbidden words.

I'm sorry I've no idea what you are referring to.

It just seems an unnecessary and insulting way to change the word book to "book" in order to make fun of a regional accent .
I'm sure the McCanns don't care but I do find it tiresome.
Deal with the failings of others as gently as with your own.
