I have always believed that Amaral seriously needed Kate McCann to be responsible as this would have proved his point in The Cipriano Case, so falsifying anything would have been nothing much to write home about.
He actually needed an associate of The McCanns to be involved as he knew that they could not have done this alone.

That's a good point.  What's the general consensus here regarding the Cirpriano case?  Mother/uncle as charged?
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Context is everything!  I think it was said in a lighthearted way in that Sadie and I both said we think we've cracked the case ie both crackers!  Or maybe Myster thinks we're crackers as in top totty!

Well its not the right thread so I'll find the right one and then providing your views don't break any forum rules I would urge you to go for it!

Well as one of them said, they're not providing a running commentary so in reality we have no real idea what they're up to!

Do you think with the £12 million spent OG haven't got past an unidentified finger print.

Goodness me!... You aren't half a sourpuss, whether it's this or your endless Brexit sour grapes.  You need to lighten up.
It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

As far as the files are concerned it's not unidentified.  It was effectively signed off as originating from GNR officer Nelson Flipe Pacheco da Costa.  Afaik OG are investigating the disappearance of MM not whether GA falsified any documents.  I think its something that OG could quite easily overlook.

Not in their remit to investigate another police force, bit libellous isn't it to suggest Amaral might have falsified some documents,is that a right standard to set?

OG are to investigate as if the abduction took place in the uk.Set their stall right from the start and have no exit strategy.
Back to the title, what evidence is there that any one other than the McCann or their friends entered 5a leading up to the reported disappearance at circa 10pm on 3/05/2007.
An unidentified finger print is just that, certainly not evidence of an abduction,so what is?

There is no suggestion about it.  Amaral was found guilty of falsifying documents in an investigation and as a result was convicted of perjury.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The unidentified fingerprint in this case raises more questions than answers and needs reviewing imo.  I have not accused anyone of anything but the unidentified fingerprint and the authenticity of the paperwork surrounding it as I said imo needs reviewing.  With regard to GA he was found guilty in a court of law of falsifying paperwork in the case of Joana Cipriano ie he has history of such.  I doubt he would have kept his job in the UK.

barrier the patio door was left unsecured on the night of MM's disappearance.  I've always said from the off imo it is absolutely key to the case.  Now we discover an unidentified fingerprint was indeed found on the side of the patio door and all that surrounds it in terms of GNR wit stats, comment from fingerprint analyst in Germany, and communication between fingerprint analyst in Portugal and GA is all highly, highly suspicious.

Beggars belief that he was able to keep his job.

It beggars belief that he was put in charge of this case in the first place.  He gave up his forth owing and forth coming holiday to volunteer you know.
