I thought you'd be more security conscious coming from SA.

Hi Rob, we are overly security conscious here, therefore taking decisions for the safety of our family.  To be honest, I feel much safer when traveling abroad. Still, I am a citizen of the most beautiful, diverse country in the world. But, we have had our share of crime: being held at gunpoint twice. Carjacked in my driveway and tied up by 5 men wearing balaclavas when my children were 4 and 2 years old. Putting a gun to my son’s head and him innocently asking “who are you? Why are you doing this?”, being told to shut the * up or I will shoot you. My Mum’s engagement ring was bitten off her finger. Deep scars, endless visits to our psychologist and psychiatrist.

Good grief, how horrifying, sadly all the people I know who are from SA have similar tales to tell, either first hand or  about neighbours, family or friends.

There have been two recent incidents where posters have had cause to complain.

The first involved a gif leveled at a poster.  The second involved the use of a word spelled in such a way it represented a regional accent.  On both occasions John intervened and the posters' complaints were upheld ie the gif was removed and the misspelled word added to the library of banned words.

Where complaints are upheld and concluded such as above a line needs to be drawn under the complaint and everyone moves on.

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

But you didn't move on... You spelt the, word slightly differently... And then got involved in a lengthy spat trying to justify your actions

Ok fair enough but I'm moving on now so that's the matter concluded.

Now you are going too far, Imo, Holly.

The Generals witty comment was a gem, which we all enjoyed.  Why did you remove it?

Ah, let’s just slag off the mentally ill snow flakes, clearly there’s nothing else to discuss these days.
