He said they had looked at all of that... Meaning. Imo.. They had looked, at the evidence.  I would also think they had further interviewed the mccanns.  The absence of evidence IS in some instances evidence of innocence... That's not opinion.

The police often say... No evidence if foul play..on that basis they accept there is no foul play.

I know what you believe. I don't share your faith in the Metropolitan Police.

I'm sure you'll give us the update for 2020 then,2017 was the last we heard of what direction the investigation's were at.Pedro Do Carmo,we don't know what happened and have to be prepared for different scenario's.Rowley ,however she left the apartment she was abducted, one is of a closed mind ,never the twain shall meet, imo and all that jazz.

Yes the update is there doesn't seem to have been any investigation of the mccanns since 2017 to change the position

You need to listen very carefully to what Rowley said, before Brunt could even finish the question Rowley said no to Brunt,we have not interviewed the parents.

Qualifying word being "seem",also its seems as if no one is in the frame, save for the lead investigator claims(news outlets).

I would agree. Finding Smithman was and still is the key to this case imo.  Amaral knew it to be the case at the time he was coordinator and we all know what happened to him.

Also listen in about stranger abduction at 11:20,he talks of a lot unknown.

What changes have taken place in your life and the lives of people around you since 2017 let alone 2007?

Nothing stays static

As long as Madeleine's case remains open and active it can be presumed there is still work being done.  I believe when a police investigation runs out of options it gets shelved although kept under review;  I don't think Madeleine's case is at that stage yet.
One thing I am sure of is that investigators have far more information available to them and a clearer picture than in 2007.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Nobody knows what Op Grange is doing now because they don't say. All four of them are quiet. It's unlikely in my opinion that they have added to whatever A C Rowley knew in 2017, and he clearly stated that they had relied on the first PJ investigation to have 'dealt with' the question of parental involvement.

That means that Op Grange began it's investigation at a certain point. If they chose the wrong point to begin then they may be going in completely the wrong direction. Indeed, their lack of a conclusion suggests that may well be the case.

Which if the first investigation was as deeply flawed as some would have us believe then by default OG is as well.
