Is there any evidence which implicates Sheila?

This should be a short thread, but there must be some, so let’s hear it from the “Jeremy Is Innocent” brigade.

Nevill said she had a gun - oh, hang on - it's was Jeremy who said Nevil said .....

She was found with a gun on her chest - oh, hang on, it was the very gun that Jeremy left out + ammo.

She had had previous psychotic episodes - oh hang on, that was before she was taking regular medication.

The pathologist didn't argue against murder/suicide - oh hang on, he didn't see the bdy in situ and after trial was critical of that fact and said had he done so, he'd have had concerns.

The logs state that there was someone in conversation with the raid team - if someone was alive, Bamber is innocent. Oh hang on - the logs don't say that, they make  clear distinction between who the raid team were in conversation with (person inside the farm - Jeremy Bamber) and who they weren't (challenge to persons inside the house - 'met with no response').

I found this interesting reading today, the alleged fabricated evidence against Jeremy Bamber regarding the scratches to the Mantle shelf
The Peter Suthurst report, with his opinion that no scratch marks were visible on the scene of crime on the day of the incident.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/soq9z9n7pwggc5d/Peter%20Suthurst%20Toe%20nail%20report.pdf?dl=0
And the rebuttal to Peter Suthurst report,

https://www.dropbox.com/s/rw88d1ygw8gc2wz/2011%20Report%20-%20CCRC-%20Undermining%20Peter%20Suthurst.pdf?dl=0

I suppose that the implication is if this is fabricated evidence against Jeremy Bamber, then by default he is not guilty.
Just for the record i think he is guilty

It occurs to me to wonder why they'd have thought to examine the mantle shelf "on the day of the incident". and how they'd have recorded it. I can only think it read "Examined mantle shelf. No scratches".

Why would they be looking for any? If any were noted, who would know when they occurred.

I may be wrong but i think Mr Suthurst claimed his expert opinion of the photographs, Taken of the crime scene was no scratches existed,
This was repudiated by the LGC forensic report, where they are experts in imagery interpretation and imagery comparison.
Yes i agree that they probably would not have thought about a spirited defence by Nevill at that time involving
a sound moderator and a mantle shelf

The mantel was all done and dusted decades ago — it’s just another futile attempt by Bamber to worm his way out of prison.

Firstly, no close-up shots of the mantel were taken on the date of the crime as there was no need to.

Secondly, they certainly didn’t look UNDERNEATH the mantel where the scratches were, hence why no photos were taken of that area, and thus there were no images showing the scratches.

Thirdly, the only reason the mantel was scrutinised weeks later was that after finding the silencer which had been used in the killings by JB, red paint was spotted on it which matched the mantel — and that’s when police saw and photographed the scratches. The paint was taken to forensics for analysis and it was the exact same paint as on the silencer. The way the scratching was embedded also showed it veered to & fro in different directions, which meant it was caused by a struggle of the rifle with the silencer attached.

The elderly Mr Suthurst was paid handsomely by Jeremy Bamber’s team to examine the photos. He said the scratches weren’t in the original photos: and he was correct — they weren’t. That’s because no photographs were taken UNDERNEATH the mantel where the scratches were.

He also said after inspecting the photos that he couldn’t see any particles of paint on the floor beneath the mantel. Nor would anyone have. Besides those tiny, tiny particles of paint falling almost anywhere during that violent struggle, were so, so tiny they’d have easily “floated” and landed almost anywhere and would have been invisible to the eye — even if you were in the room. And coupled with the fact the soc wasn’t contained; scores of police, doctors, dogs, all trampled over that area where Nevill lay, had there been any minuscule particles of paint anywhere — they’d have been trodden on destroyed/removed.

Looking for evidence that points to Sheila’s guilt not evidence that allegedly exonerates Bamber.  Anyone got any?

I would never describe Sheila as "guilty", even if it could be proved that she committed the murders. If she did, it would have been as a result of illness, therefore she would not have been responsible for her actions.

Which may have contributed to why, for so long, I clung to Jeremy's innocence. It was easier to forgive Sheila.

Holly points at miscarriages of justice as somehow being a bellwether to the Bamber case, these other cases have been resolved by an large by advancements in forensics, what would be the clincher in this case that points at Sheila rather than J.

None, the scene was so poorly staged that Sheila could not possibly have been the perpetrator. Most of the cases Holly references weren’t MoJ at all, they just got off on a technicality or the police coerced the confession.
Nothing new has come to light in 35 years, other than Jeremy keeps changing his story. The only thing that will free Bamber would be a full recant from Sheila which ain’t ever gonna happen.
