Well, he had a wonderful advocate in "Taff" Jones, who no one dared to gainsay, so I guess it was all the permission he needed.

I believe it was Jeremy himself who said that Bourtree had been suggested as a place for Sheila.

Whilst you don't make it clear from where your anger came, as far as how Sheila felt, I suspect at times, helpless, and at other times, relieved that how deep a hole she was in, mummy and daddy would sort it out. As we have no true clue as to what that last discussion was about, and we only know she didn't like visiting the farm, she was probably feeling trapped and couldn't wait for Colin to come and fetch her. I believe we can confidently establish that being at WHF wasn't the holiday of a lifetime for her. Sadly, it became the last one OF her lifetime.

It wasn't him who thought they has seen something, it was Myhall. It was when they first arrived and all a bit jumpy.

Yes. Colin was taking them on holiday to his sister in Norway. Probably Grandma and Grandpa wanted to give them some pocket money to go on holiday with? They were only to be there until Thursday.

Oh sorry, I was going by the ITV drama. I know it isn't accurate. They are all outside waiting and JB says he thinks he saw someone  moving about in the house- another officer asked did anyone else see anything and one officer said yes, it was then discredited as a trick of the light?   and when they got to the house it was locked from the inside anyway and the occupants were all dead apparently.

 apologies if this is wrong I am not claiming this as being true just what I thought I watched.

Something else I saw mention- JB was going to burn the house down- I doubt he would have done that as there was more money to be had selling stuff of and the building in tact for selling.
