It is the complete absence of objectivity & impartiality with which the media treat this case that makes me feel like I live in some kind of North Korea. There is no pushback whatsoever against the McCanns & their unverified claim that Madeleine was abducted. Instead we get instances like this programme, where people who claim to have apparently closely studied the files make claims such as 'there's no evidence against the Mccanns', as if the Smith sighting wasn't in the files at all. This case & the people who slavishly bend the knee to the McCanns I find quite disgusting really. But this is going to rumble on forever because Maddie is unrecoverable & the McCanns have vowed to never give up.

They are the Israel of police investigations.
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

So what is happening with Bruckner now or was this latest intervention simply talk for talks sake?

It was the umpteenth anniversary of Madeleine's alleged abduction so of course a compliant media had to poop out some nonsense about how racist Brexit voters have kept the paedo from being charged & extradited. All the stuff of complete fantasy as with everything else where the abduction is concerned.

German authorities said they will not file charges against Madeleine McCann?s primary suspect Christian Brueckner this year amid a lack of evidence to bring charges against him. Lead prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said he is convinced they will have enough evidence to charge the German paedophile next year.

He was hopeful but he did say why it is taking so long -

Asked why it was taking so long to bring charges, Mr Wolters added: "The length of the investigation is due to the difficult body of evidence, which of course has primarily to do with the considerable lapse of time since the crime. However, we still have promising lines of enquiry that we want to pursue."

It's a cold case and of course it is very unlikely there will be DNA evidence though didn't the Portuguese have hairs?

It's good that Wolter is giving their evidence to Operation Grange I hope it's all of it so that they can work together properly and get a good result.

Obviously the general public won't be privy to all the evidence.
