All members are equal I think and it certainly could never be suggested that that John or Admin ever throw their weight around trusting that for most of the time we are capable of behaving in a responsible manner.

I would say most of the time I do behave in a responsible manner but when it comes to members saying on the forum that I'm lying without them actually proving their case I will give them warning points and delete those posts.  Now surely that is the right thing to do. 
So even doing that moderator action is responsible IMO and hopefully "responsible" in your view as well.

But Hans Christian Wolters, Braunschweig state prosecutor, is convinced Christian B is the main suspect and Kate and Gerry McCann "don't have anything to do with it".

Have you never ever been told off by John or Admin?  Maybe you haven't and that is fine, but when I do I tend to leave it at that.

If you were to read the OP this was the sort of advice I was wanting right from the start.  I was looking for advice on how to handle this situation.  Did you tell me to research the source right from the beginning?

I used the word "proof".  I never said Wolters said "proof".  So you rave on about nothing.

Wolters has never said he has proof, so why suggest that he has?

From what was quoted by G-unit it appeared to me that Wolters was admitting he didn't have proof that Madeleine was dead.  How could he have proof if he says "she could still be alive"? 
I'm not saying he said "no proof" but he implied it by what he said IMO.

Faithlilly claims Wolters and Amaral are peas in a pod.  If I were Wolters I would sue her for defamation.  One thing thst is definitely different is that Wolters has not been fired from the case in ignominy a few short months after getting involved, as for his background, I’m sure if he has a criminal conviction and a track record in lying we would know about it and he would not be in the position he currently holds.
