The teeth marks were of the type that poisonous snakes have.  I understand that non poisonous snakes have completely different teeth without the fangs.  These were fang marks.  That the snake chose not to envenomate me is my good fortune.  Seems that if the prey (me ) is too big to eat, they don't inject poison unless feeling very threatened.

Why don't you check it out?
