A third option ( unlikely) is that is the remains of a much older body.
I'm speculating that her murderer burnt the body and that is why identification is proving difficult.

I'm a little curious as to why the suspect has had his name revealed & face splashed across the front pages, yet his accomplice is allowed to retain complete anonymity.

The woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Assisting an offender is not an accomplice. His wife has been named via Daily Mail with an assumption that it was her who was arrested.

It's a strange story that's developing. Seen doing something (unspecified) on a bus camera and then being followed for several days before arrest, even though  Sarah had not been located, dead or alive.

Okay, who's going to bring up the "He can't half sue them if they are wrong."

They’d better be right or they are going to look more than a little incompetent.  I would imagine they wouldn’t arrest one of their own unless they had very very good grounds for suspicion.
