I never said that. I said that it could have been a motive for deciding not to surrender a body to the authorities. Just like the stranger abduction, sedation was brought into the case by Madeleine's mother as early as 5th May, although the PJ weren't told it seems.
If sedation was the motive which the McCanns wished to conceal, why did Kate McCann bring it up in the first place?  How does that make any sense?  Do you agree with the statement “there is no evidence that the McCanns sedated their children?” yes or no?

More unsubstantiated speculation.... What about signs of sexual abuse..some sceptics seem to think that could be a reason too

More difficult questions that simply cannot be answered it would appear…

According to the PJ files Kate McCann brought the subject up with Ricardo Paiva three months after the disappearance.

According to Kate McCann she raised the subject with the responding officers on the night of the disappearance, but there's no evidence of that. She said nothing in her interview on 4th May.

According to the LP liaison officers the parents asked them if the PJ had found any evidence suggesting sedation had been used.

So there's no evidence that the McCanns sedated their children, but there is evidence that they were interested in the possibility very early on, but none that they raised the possibility with the PJ. Why not? Why wait for three months?

Amaral was NEVER able to come up with any sort of feasible means for the McCanns to be able to make Madeleine vanish without trace.  And my goodness some of the many means he suggested they might have employed are irrational and simply beyond belief.

They didn't even have access to any sort of transportation nor did they know the area or anyone living in it - so all the Amaral suspicions fall at the first hurdle for people on foot in and without support in an unknown and unfamiliar environment.

All the boxes that logic dictates cannot be applicable to the McCanns are ones which can be ticked with ease as far as the prime suspect Brueckner is concerned.

Brueckner had the means, the transportation, the contacts, the skills and the incentive.  He obviously knew the resort like the back of his hand as it was a cash cow for him in many ways both legal and illegal.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

You don't know they didn't raise the point in the interviews... You are making an assumption... Speculating

How do you know it was never raised?  Were all their discussions with the PJ minuted?

I said there's no evidence. That's not an assumption, it's a fact. I'll leave it to others to speculate.

You have speculated that sedation was the reason why the McCanns and their friends had to cover up Madeleine’s death have you not?

The fact there is no evidence does not mean they didn't raise the point.. You are speculating.. And the fact you don't realise that speaks volumes

Are you suggesting that Kate McCann told the police off the record that she thought her children had been sedated by a predator and they did nothing about it?
