The mobile number which called Brueckner's mobile at 7.32pm on 3/5/07 belonged to Nicole F. That information was provided by a friend of hers who was interviewed by Jutta Rabe on the recent SAT1 German documentary. I have included 2 screenshots below which show both the confirmation of the mobile number owner and the vehicle in which the interviewee was sitting. (The subtitles should read Nicole F not Nikolai). The SAT1 documentary no longer seems to be available for viewing online.
It would appear from another press report (below) that Brueckner had told his then-girlfriend Nicole F that he was 200 miles away in the northern parish of Tomar. IMO he was constructing himself an alibi, for potential future use, as he waited around somewhere in Luz to carry out crime(s) against Madeleine.

Very interesting, Misty. I believe it was Elke Piro who provided the information (?) The reference to ‘Nikolov’ - is that the Russian, Ivan Nikolov police were trying to trace? The Sat1 documentary is no longer available but I believe it will shortly be on UK television.

So it really does seem that Madeleine's surname does single her out for special attention - or do you advocate that despite the fact there is existing evidence to be followed in an investigation we just shouldn't bother.

One or the other - which is it for you!

What's the significance of her surname?

We didn't get to see the woman Jutta interviewed and her name wasn't disclosed so I don't now if she was Elke. From what I remember, she confirmed that the number belonged to Nicole F - i.e. it was HER phone - not a man's. I screenshot the name shown on the subtitles because I was initially confused regarding "Nikolov".
You have me at a disadvantage regarding an Ivan Nikolov - do you have any more details please?

The only crime he has been convicted of committing in PdL is a rape.
I know of no jobs he had in PdL.
I don't care what Amaral said. Knocking on CB's door wasn't an option unless it was a van door.
His alleged phone pinged in a location covered by a mast in PdL.

I don't need to provide evidence that he was elsewhere, because there's no reliable evidence that he was in PdL.
Oh right so now there’s no “reliable” evidence he was in PdL.  LOL.  Progress of sorts, I suppose.  Define “reliable” in this context.  Does it mean only evidence that supports your beliefs perhaps?

Bruckner was convicted of stealing 3000 litres of diesel from vehicles in  Portimao.  That is a 26 minute drive away from Praia Da Luz.  It’s in the near vicinity.  He operated in the near vicinity of PdL.  The address he refused to give the authorities when he was incarcerated for the crime was the villa on the outskirts of PdL.   To make out that he didn’t live in the area for many years is disingenuous to say the least.  We recently read that he worked in the Ocean Club itself.  Vans have doors.  How else do you alert the occupant that you wish to speak with them other than knocking on it?  His phone pinged in PdL, on the same night Madeleine disappeared, not the nigt before and not the night after.  Quelle coincidence.

Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner WORKED at resort where she vanished and his phone was no more than five minutes away when she disappeared, documentary claims
- Brueckner was named as the prime suspect in McCann disappearance in 2020
- Convicted German rapist 'regularly carried out repair work' at Praia da Luz
- Documentary showed the 44-year-old to be familiar with the Portuguese resort

Given that it was never established beyond doubt that he was holding that phone that night, that box hasn't been ticked. Ergo his whereabouts is another unticked box.

Your information about the opinion piece you have posted comes from where exactly?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Documentary claims , which is not police claims, fortunately Wolters is keeping his mouth shut.

I'm delighted. Put a stop to the burning of money nobody can afford.
But using your logic, do we spend >£15 million on each missing child, or does the funding only extend to children whose parents have links to people in positions of influence?

Incidentally, you and all supporters needn't fret. When the OG rug does get pulled, and you read it here first, I will guarantee some high-profile benefactor will pop up and proclaim that they will bankroll the ongoing search, out of pure christian kindness and philanthropy. And not part-time philanthropy like one or two, but a big-hitter keen to help in anyway they can.

Back in 2019 Amaral told Mark Saunokonoko that OG would be winding up with CB as the patsy , not far wrong again it seems.

Your post is as usual.

Starting and finishing with OFF TOPIC and proceeding through the usual vitriolic litany which mentions everything under the sun but Brueckner - the paedophile and rapist presently under investigation for the murder of a child.

Is there any evidence that he was anywhere else at the time?  Did his phone ping in Paris?  Did an eyewitness see him in Eritrea?  Was he known to hang out in Haiti?  The fact is - he was a long-term resident of the PdL area, he committed crimes in that area, he had jobs in that area, he had friends and acquaintances in that area, the cop "co-ordinating" the investigation claimed he was living in that area, his phone pinged in that area.  Not in Amsterdam, not in Zagreb, but in PdL.  That is evidence.  Feel free to provide evidence that he was anywhere else at the time.  Even the suspect has hitherto failed to claim he was elsewhere but carry on believing what you must to keep your dreams alive.

You managed to tick a few boxes there VS.  Some time ago I posted a newspaper link to the effect that the German investigation had tabs on the caller at the other end of Brueckner's line.
There has been no other appeal for that information ~ so I reckon the report was kosher and they have the required information detailing Brueckner's corresponding whereabouts.

Additional information here regarding the antenna activation from Brueckener's phone in Luz on 3rd May 2007 >

Is this the same Amaral who deliberately spread misinformation about this so-called “patsy”?   The patsy whose home he says his men visited in 2007 but never bothered to actually interview or even catch a glimpse of  when they knocked on his door? And you think he’s got special access to the BKA  investigation do you?  Or perhaps you think he’s clairvoyant?  You appear quite credulous which is a strange position for a sceptic .

I thought she was talking about another person called ‘Nikolov’ or is it a subtitle error? Like you say, Nicole F. I have no additional information for ‘Ivan’ and just know the name came up in connection with CB and NF.
