How is it that Wayne Couzens was convicted of abduction, rape and murder when he had no previous convictions for these crimes?  Do you think he didn’t tick any of the relevant boxes so should have been discounted as a suspect?

yes, without the various cameras he probably wouldn't have been investigated and  caught.  IMO

CCTV the policeman's helper.
That’s as maybe.  CCTV doesn’t turn individuals who weren’t rapists and murderers into them, so my point stands.

He ticked the copper box. Don't you know they protect their own?
Right so if you’re a copper you tick the box marked likely to be a rapist and murderer is that what you’re saying?

What has this got to do with who is predisposed to anything?
Nothing - it’s just more astounding lack of logic on display.

That's why he was investigated though. Evidence revealed his connection to the victim. Using box ticking would probably have led the police to investigate (and maybe arrest) others who were innocent, despite "fitting the profile". Box ticking is a tool, but it has no evidential reliability imo.

In the absence of CCTV cameras in Luz the PJ would have had to use different methods of detection such as phone traffic and vehicular information.

This they did as far as Kate and Gerry McCann were concerned and even when no incriminating evidence was found - they just would not let go..

It doesn't seem to have happened as far as Brueckner is concerned until 2013 when Scotland Yard activated Madeleine's case.

So the boxes can be there but if no-one ticks them or ticks the wrong ones no evidence or intelligence will result.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Police use box ticking to help investigate.. That's why parents are suspects

Okay, let's address Box Ticking.

Has he ever committed a Murder?  How could they possibly know if no one ever caught him?

Was he in the location, seems to be the most important to me.  If he wasn't there then he can't have done it.

But his phone was there.  Only he can say if he was using it.  A refusal to do so does not look good.

And of course, every murderer who ever lived committed a murder for the first time.

The problem in this case is that Couzens DID tick many of the boxes, it’s just that no one had officially ticked them sooner and booted him out of the police as he should have been.  Claiming that CB can be disregarded as a suspect on the basis that he  never murdered before is just plain nonsense but it keeps being repeated here by two senior moderators.  It’s blimmin’ bonkers logic, you must surely agree with that?

And I believe her to have been alive in early 2012, where I am almost 100% certain that I have captured her dancing in a gala in the mediteranean area and she didn't appear abused..

If she was kept alive until then, I think she will still be alive.

There are still many boxes which haven't been ticked in the joint police investigation into the prime suspect in Madeleine's disappearance - Brueckner.

I think it is bizarre that he registered his vehicle in someone else's name the day after her disappearance; what on earth might his reason for that have been?
Has one ever been given?

"The second vehicle is a 1993 British Jaguar, model XJR 6, with a German number plate and registered in Germany," the statement added. "This car is believed to have been in the Praia da Luz and surrounding areas in 2006 and 2007. The car was originally registered in the suspect's name. On 4 May 2007, the day after Madeleine's disappearance, the car was re-registered to someone else in Germany."

If he had no involvement with Madeleine, then it would be just another day for him.
Why would he need to give an explanation for what might just be a coincidence  ?

I will give you one reason. Maybe he didn’t.
The press, the Met Police and people on the internet may have taken the words used on the BKA website asking for information on Bruekner and misinterpreted them.
The BKA website says “Die letzte bekannte Zulassung nach dem Tattag war bei der Stadt Augsburg.
which translates to “The last known registration after the day of the crime was with the city of Augsburg”
This doesn’t indicate that the car was re registered the day after the crime, just that the last known registration of the car after the 4th May 2007 was in Augsburg.
All IMO.

Because he is the prime suspect in a murder investigation and if his explanation is satisfactory and accepted by investigators, could help in clearing him.
On the other hand if he doesn't remember anything about a perfectly ordinary day of the third - it stands to reason he must remember the 4th and his reasons for altering the registration on his vehicle to someone else on that day.

Aren't you the teeniest bit curious - cos I know I am and I think the joint police investigators will be with me and my curiosity.
