Are you suggesting I'm not catty enough, or sufficiently good at being catty?  Well in a way that's possibly the nicest thing you've ever said to me.
BTW , did you know that in my day job I am actually a cat handler? It's a job I have no intention of giving up -  thank you and miaow.

A fairly simple explanation is that he had no address in either country, which was probably necessary to register the car.

If he had no address in Portugal,   what door did the Police knock on?  Amaral said the Police knocked on his door so they must have known where he lived.   Unless it's not true.

No one had asked any questions about the Jaguar for a number of years.  So why bother then?

His last known address?

Don't you think it strange that CB left his home and registered his car to his friend,  just after Madeleine disappeared?  He then left the area.

I thought he never returned to his former home after his release from prison in late 2006 for stealing of diesel?

So what was Amaral talking about when he said they knocked on Brueckner's door?

I don't know what the diagnostics are regarding Brueckner but his proven record contains examples of psychotic behaviour including the abuse of children.

Were I you I would not glibly dismiss the fact that there are individuals who are perfectly capable of performing the basest of crimes described by you, against children or even geriatric women while presenting a normal persona to everyone else around them.
Rapists and murderers don't have it stamped on their foreheads, they look and behave pretty much like everyone else, that's how they get away with it.

The best that investigators can do is to look for a profile and from my reading of like individuals Brueckner ticks every box and then some on that recognised sheet.  Much as police investigators seem to acknowledge by making him prime suspect in the crimes against Madeleine.

Rapists and abusers don't normally commit murder.  This is the basic difficulty with Bruckner, he might fit some boxes but he certainly doesn't have the profile of a killer.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

It says he left the property in November 2007.   IMO he didn't want the car to be connected to the house,  he was going to do a runner.

Strange he didn't pay his fine,  yet he suddenly possessed a huge camper van.

Some end up committing murder John.    I hope Madeleine wasn't murdered I hope she was sold hopefully for adoption.

Why are you being so obtuse?  What are the defining characteristics of a killer, pray tell?
