It says he left the property in November 2007.   IMO he didn't want the car to be connected to the house,  he was going to do a runner.

Strange he didn't pay his fine,  yet he suddenly possessed a huge camper van.

It says he was released from prison in December 2006. He had given an address in Barrocal, but wasn't there when police went there in November 2007;

"Brueckner and Tatschl were caught red handed in April 2006 after they had already stolen 300 litres of fuel and were jailed for seven months.

They were released in December 2006 but were ordered to pay compensation for the stolen fuel in the form of a fine.

But Brueckner never paid the fine and when police tried to enforce payment in November 2007 he had disappeared from the address in Barrocal that he had given the court."

Barrocal was where Bernhard Piro had his breaker's yard.

Interesting post on WS. Wolters has had information from an Australian and Paraguayan investigation. It may well be that this evidence is not admissible in German courts but there has been a recent court ruling in Germany to clarify the situation
It's speculation but its an explanation for Wolters being 100% certain of CBs guilt..... But not wishing to prosecute at the moment. If he goes to court without it and CB gets off.. He will not be able to use it at any future trial

Rapists and abusers don't normally commit murder.  This is the basic difficulty with Bruckner, he might fit some boxes but he certainly doesn't have the profile of a killer.

I disagree, John.  I think he fits the profile to a T.  So obviously does Amaral as he struggles to convince this is why he was "chosen" to be the patsy.

Nobody is a murderer until caught and successfully prosecuted.  Just as Brueckner wasn't a rapist and torturer until he was caught and eventually successfully prosecuted.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I dunno.  I don't know any Rapists and Torturers.  But it doesn't sound frightfully sane to me.

And besides, it would be so much easier to dispose of the body of a four year old child should the desire to kill overcome you.

Brueckner is undoubtedly a Psychopath and Psychopaths do often kill, although probably not on the first occasion.

They are also not entirely stupid. Saying he doesn't fit The Profile is naive to say the least.

On whose decision is a profile made, look what happened to Colin Stagg, evidence  which a court decides leads to proof is what will convict, the legend is writ.

Well yes, how accurate is a profile. I think Herri had something to say on profiling a short while back.
The danger is believing a profile is anything more than an opinion.

So you think that John is wrong.  But then so do I.

Two issues from the very start,1: was CB in Luz at the time.2: Is Madeleine definitely dead and on whose say so .

According to Wolters she is.. As much as it can be shown Rui Pedro is.

I remember Wolters clarifying early doors..

We don't have definitive proof she is dead but she is unlikely to have survived what our evidence shows.

I think it's sceptics who in the main don't understand profiling... Look at the support Pat Brown gets.. Then statement analysis... Opinion.. Body language experts.. Opinion....cadaver dogs... Opinion
But most sceptics seem to swallow it all

Lets run with that, he says she's dead, what's the connection to CB, remember no photo with CB and Madeleine together, its circumstantial, circumstantial possibly doesn't cut it in a German court , forensics nailed CB for the rape, no scientific evidence in this case .

You're one of Amarals biggest critics, whats different about what Wolters say's, he's said if you knew what I knew you'd reach the same conclusion , is that it , his word ?

Brueckner's phone was in Luz at the time.  I don't know if Madeleine is dead.
