She is a realist who deplores the intellectual dishonesty of Amaral's discredited - outdated - and false theory, which he has managed to convince some of and which they have believed and promulgated for over fifteen years.


The fact is the Portuguese Judicial Police has only one defendant in this case.  That suspect is Brueckner.

Felgueiras is aware that very often the emergence of truth doesn't please, but when it is the only option it must be reported by journalists of integrity despite the desperate rear guard defence by Amaral of his past speculations which at the time and for years, destroyed any case that might have been made against a local sexual deviant hiding in full view.

She does but I’m sure that down to genetics and good bone structure rather than her prowess as a journalist.

I'm glad you didn't say that.  The fact is she appears to be one of the highest profile investigative journalists in Portugal and has been so for many years, so IMO she can't be a complete moron.

But isn’t Portugal a rather backward country, more akin to Nigeria rather than the Netherlands so is that really a badge of honour?

She must have been very embarrassed about being taken in by Amaral.

But then she isn't alone in that.
