"when I was going down to the exit of my apartment"
so the woman in purple on the pavement is seen from high up on the open stairway of block 4 that's the distance IMO

But let's assume you are right, and it was her who JW saw.
Since when has standing in the street been a crime?
What exactly do you find suspicious about it?
By finding everything suspicious your theory has a vast conspiracy of about twenty liars, do you even keep count of the exact quantity?

There are two witnesses who saw a woman dressed in purple outside the McCanns apartment on the night of 3 May 2007. One witness said it was Jane Tanner. There may be an innocent explanation for her loitering around but this question needs to be asked to her. I have a thing about loose ends
