Certainly some tall stories have been told. Jon Clarke claimed that a partial finger print belonging to Brueckner was found on a knife at the Hazel B 'alleged' crime scene. This was never reported on during the trial or in any other media. Either someone in German law enforcement was feeding him rubbish or he himself made the whole thing up.
Bottom line is, HCW played his hand. If 'evidence' wasn't presented at this most recent trial, it's not to keep it in his arse pocket for a future charge for something different, it means it doesn't exist or it's been ruled out as inadequate.
Try nailing CB with images of abuse if it wasn't found on his person or doesn't have any corroborative evidence, foresic or otherwise, linking it to him aside from hearsay.
The magic knife either never existed or the partial print isn't his.
This is also a case of all witness testimony used at the trial is fruit from the poisionous tree; tainted by mid-trial untruths being uncovered, thus the whole barrel is rotten.
It's the very definition of a legal busted flush. How it got to trial is anyone's guess, given the notoriously high bar apparently in place for pre-charge screening in Germany. They are very proud of their conviction rate.
Let's not forget one opf the judges warned everyone mid-trial that the trial was a sham due to the paucity of evidence - it was that bad, almost unprecedented.
