This is quite likely sadly.  One thing that is not going to solve this case is re-testing the DNA in the apartment and hire car in the vain hope that it can be proven to have belonged to Madeleine.  Even if this was proven beyond any shadow of a doubt, all it proves is that her DNA got into the apartment (not surprising as she was in it for a week) and into the back of the hire car (cross contamination on clothing and other personal effects would hardly be surprising either and a valid explanation).  It would certainly not prove she had died in the apartment or that her body was stuffed in the back of the car 23 days later.  In fact I'd love to know how those who believe the dog correctly alerted to cadaver but who also believe Madeleine was dumped in a bin on the night of the 3rd and taken off to the local tip rationalise the car alert.  Did any of them ever explain that one?  I'm sure there's a preposterous explanation they could come up for it.

Strange how they didnt get DNA testing done by perlin for free.

Madeleine McCann DNA breakthrough as US expert offers ...

 — A DNA expert in the US could provide a breakthrough in the Madeleine McCann case after he offered to analyse samples held in the UK.

IMO anyone who seriously believes that CB being cleared of a rape charge and a handful of child abuse charges means that the police will have to go back to square one on the McCann case must have rocks where their brains should be.

What like a rock et scientest do you mean....anyway.

I do think they should go back to the begining of that open window what proof they have of it actually being open.

Not only that, DNA science  has advanced considerably in the past decade or so, so what might have been a complex result, impossible to interpret back in 2007 may be more easily resolved today.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

It's not strange and I've explained why establishing whether or not it was definitely Madeleine's DNA would not take the case forward one millimetre.    We know Madeleine was in the apartment and we know that cross-contamination could explain the presence of her DNA in the car her family were using.

Your posts have an obsession with trying to make posters ..... less important than yourself.

What have we learned in 17 years nothing [apart from the prime suspects for abduction].. results in zero.

Maddie disappeared 17 years a go...no one can prove what happened or who was responsible it seems.

IMO the only way of solving this is for fresh eyes to look at it from the begining....not half way through

Or keep looking for a so called abductor ....of wich they have no evidence there was one.

And someone forgot who wiped The Lichen off the window sill. That would have taken a bit of doing. Or are we supposed to forget about that?

I dont think anyone did.

Myth #4 - Apartment 5a had lichen on the window sill

This was a reference to the McCann's holiday complex at the Ocean Club at Praia da Luz.

Wasn't it only kmcc fingerprints found on the window.

Fresh eyes or eyes belonging to a brain that’s convinced the parents dunnit?  Which would suit you best?  You have an obsession with dragging up ancient myths, legends and barmpot opinions about this case that have been discussed until we’re all blue in the face and some.  The world has moved on since 2007, but clearly not for some.

Oh get a grip VS ....stop getting so stressed.

Oh and don't you tell me what can be posted and what cant.

The world may have moved on since 2007....but what happened to Maddie hasn't.

What happened to Madeleine was that she was likely abducted by a stranger, as Andy Redwood said, and that’s what three police forces are currently investigating.  I suggest you stop accusing me of being stressed and obsessed btw. there’s a good girl.

I always am a good girl V.

barmpot opinions about this case that have been discussed until we’re all blue in the face

I think getting blue in the face I suggest is a sign of stress....and who is we're.

OK so redwood said likely abducted

HCW says CB likely the abductor/murderer

No evidence to prove any of this ...same as you haven't ...its all just opinions

You may prefer to believe what you are told without evidence....I don't.

How do you know 3 police forces are currently  investigating abduction or even investigating at all.

I would hardly call 4 officers  a police force. or disappearance equals abduction

Current status
The investigation is ongoing, and the Home Office has provided up to £192,000 in special grant funding for the 2024-2025 year. The investigation team is made up of three police officers and one member of police staff, all working part-time

1 May 2024 — Scotland Yard's investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has been given another £192,000 by the Home Office

That is what Maddie is a missing child from the apartment in 2007 ...and we are no further on than that.

Kizzy, I do find your arguments tediously repetitive.  I can’t be arsed with it anymore.  In fact you win.  Everything you say is right and every opinion I’ve ever held about the McCanns, Amaral, the PJ, HCW, CB etc is wrong, wrong wrong.  There’s nothing more to be said.  Your last post has utterly won me over and worn me out.  Well done.
