Gosh, how incriminating- her fingerprints were found on the window of the apartment she had been living in for 6 days.  Call the cops.

She never told the police she touched the window. Why Not?

Come to think of it, I haven't seen or heard Grange describe him as the key or prime suspect either.

If they found her fingerprints on the window and thought this was deeply suspicious why wasn’t it one of the (asinine) questions they put to her when she was questioned as an arguido?
Plod: Why were your fingerprints on the window?
Kate McCann: I must have touched it when I was opening the curtain, closing the curtain, opening the window, closing the window, on one of the days or nights I was staying in the apartment.
Plod: How very suspicious. Kate McCann we’re placing you under arrest for the murder of your daughter.

What do you mean by key suspect? I haven't heard the three expert investigative forces describe him as the key suspect.
“A key suspect is a person who is considered to be the most likely suspect in a crime investigation by law enforcement“. Thanks AI, couldn’t have put it better myself!

Grange have never described him as the most likely suspect. Neither have the PJ. Only Wolters, & he just saw a prosecution against Brueckner fail spectacularly. Doesn't add much confidence to his claims.

The PJ have him as their only arguido in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.  You may choose to believe that that doesn’t mean he is the key suspect but that is your choice.  It’s obvious to people who are not on a silly wind up that he is the key and only suspect as far as they are concerned.  The Met are convinced Madeleine was abducted and are supporting the German investigation.  I think it’s safe to take an inference from that, that Bruckner is the key suspect as far as they are concerned too. But, if you prefer to believe that the Met and the PJ’s key and only suspects are the parents and their mates, well again your choice and not supported by anything remotely resembling a fact.

The last word from the MET they continued to state they were investigating Madeleine's disappearance. Strange that they haven't upgraded to a murder investigation, considering they've seen the wealth of murder evidence Wolters has shared with them. According to Wolters if we knew the evidence we would reach the same conclusion. Why haven't the MET, the PJ and the McCanns?

I seem to remember a big sceptic hooha years ago when it was revealed that the Met had put members of its Homicide squad into the investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance.  How can this possibly be they screamed when they are claiming it’s only a disappearance and that she may still be alive?  Well, use your noggins numpties.  Obviously it’s almost certainly an abduction and murder investigation but without firm proof of that it remains a missing persons enquiry.  I agree that if he hasn’t already done so by now HCW should certainly share all the German evidence with the Met and the McCanns (not the PJ though as it would be front page news of all their tabloids the following day if they did so).  I suspect that probably has happened hence no more statements from the McCanns indicating they hold out hope of being reunited with her, just a statement of hope that one day they will know what happened to her.

This makes no sense. If the evidence is so convincing that it leads to no other conclusion, then that's proof, & yet the key new prime suspect is never being charged. At least not so far as Wolters can forsee. It's an unbelievable state of affairs.

It may make more sense if we knew what that evidence was that compelled Wolters to believe Madeleine was dead.  For example evidence could have been found when there were (illegal) police searches on his property that  pointed strongly to Madeleine’s death at Bruckner’s hands  but because of the circumstances in which that evidence was gathered they know they cannot use it against him.

No, the Germans.

But Wolters claims Madeleine was murdered in Portugal. Not forgetting that in 2022 he stated they had enough evidence to charge. He's never mentioned anything about inadmissible evidence What evidence could there possibly have been in Germany when she was murdered in Portugal? It doesn't make any sense, which means it most likely isn't true.
