ffs Sadie, I'm not sure where to start. Quidditch isn't a real game and broomsticks can't really fly. The game appears in a book, written by JR Hartley, about a boy wizard called Harry. Although wizards are real, none of them possess mystical powers up to and including levitation.
I'm not really a General (just like I'm not a real welder, to make reference to the punchline of the classic joke), and Myster isn't my dad as far as I am aware. I don't know Myster, we've never conversed, never met, although he / she has my respect as a top contributor to the forum.
I'm just a knobhead from Liverpool and certainly not from wherever it was you said I hailed from.
I have been to Tripoli, which actually is a tale worth telling, but I doubt Myster has - he / she / they might have - but we certainly weren't there together. Myster also appears to be in rude health, given their quality of output here, so I don't think there's any cause to fret.
The icon image I used which contained the word 'KNEEL' was in fact a picture of the comic book supervillain, General Zod, played by the Oscar nominated Terence Stamp in the motion picture Superman (1978). It had no significance other than he was a General, just like Russell Crowe is General Maximus. I thought about using General De Gaull, be he's French, or General Rommel or Goering, but they're nazi German c*&^s.
I have to admit that I've been playing along, but that's just making things worse. I'm going to nip off again soon on another sabbatical, so I thought I'd come clean.
If these revelations come as a shock maybe it's time to take stock of what you believe to be true.
Best Regards,
The General (not a real General).
The book, Harry Potter, was written by JK Rowling,
Married name ?Hartley?.
Hartley NO, married name
Murray . She married Dr Neil Murray over 20 years and together they have 2 children.
www.hellomagazine.com/film/516643/inside-jk-rowlings-23-year-marriage-he-keeps-out-of-the-spotlight/NOT Hartley. The REAL man that Harry Potter is based on comes from the Hart and the Ley family, as you do too. Strangely, seems I come from the Ley family too.
Did you really think that Quidditch was an actual game? I never did, but fun wasn't it.
The Templars, in the 1300's and being threatened with death by the King of France and the Pope, were in dire trouble. They saved themselves by vanishing and then reinvented themselves as Knights of Malta/ Colombus/ etc. I think most thinking people accept this now.
Wizards and witches were rife in the 1600's, and near the end of the century were been executed by burning and drowning. A death penalty was put on them because of the extreme supernatural harm they were doing to their enemies. I believe that death penalty has been lifted, now. The Wizards, likewise upon the the threat of execution, vanished and reappeared as Priests.
We are generally assured that there are no wizards now, but if that is the case, why did they go to the bother of lifting the Death Penalty? I wonder who pushed that Bill through? (in my lifetime)
Yes, I think you are right. They are few and far between, but there are well hidden Wizards around again. How many do you know?
BTW Myster is your Dad. You have both talked about your relationship several times on here
You are not from Liverpool. I don't think that I have ever said where you hail from. Probably several countries, you are well travelled like your Dad
You are not a knobhead but a privately educated University graduate which shines through your posts. Your Dad is probably a genius and you are exceptionaly clever. I hope that you have forgiven your Dad. I do hope that he is feeling better. I don't think he can help himself.
I hope that you are on a more even keel now. Enjoy your holiday
