German Prosecutor has no plans to charge Christian Bruckner.

No surprise to most people who said four year ago +.. he will never be charged with abduction.

His only connection with Maddie was the word Suspect.

Oh, and the words of HCW who now it seems can go no further with the so called evidence he has.

Now it seems he is eligible for day release.

How many times was HCW on the brink of charging CB....sad really it brought so much hope to some on here.

I me myself...was 100% sure he was not the abductor...because  there was no abduction in the first place

The comments on the Daily Mail article are shocking. It seems the majority of people believe he should never be released. Well I'm sorry but he only raped one woman. That really doesn't warrant a life sentence imo

He hasn’t been ruled out and unless you were with him on the night of 3rd May 2007 it’s impossible for you to be 100% sure he wasn’t involved.

What have the Germans done to Bruckner’s reputation that the Portuguese and Amaral didn’t do to the McCanns back in the day?  I seem to recall you being on the side of the PJ and Amaral and “Freadom of Speach” so what’s changed?  Of course the ECHR cleared Amaral of any wrongdoing and presumably will do the same if CB attempts to sue anyone.

He has almost fully repaid his debt to society & has been reformed by the justice system. It is completely wrong to hold his previous mistakes against him all the time. He should be released as soon as possible imo & be free to live a life of religious fulfilment.

How do you know for certain he wasn’t the abdutor then?  You really should share your evidence with the German investigation if you know something they clearly don’t.

The PJ accused the McCanns of a crime and almost certainly leaked stories to the press about them in 2007.  Unlike Bruckner the McCanns were not criminals with a proven history of rape and child abuse yet they didn’t sue the PJ.  They did sue Amaral and were ultimately unsuccessful.  Perhaps Bruckner will sue every newspaper that reported he was a suspect in the MM case but he’s going to need very generous lawyers or a crowdfunder for that.  Perhaps you should start one now if you haven’t already?
