They might have got the clothes back but not the blanket.  So in that case the blanket is just a replacement.

G-unit and others pursuing this line of evidence.  What I want to find is whether the PJ or the GNR ever gave the pink blanket back to the McCanns or did they keep it.  Like we need a cite to show they picked it up and we have that so do we also need a cite to show they gave it back?  The towel was obviously the property of OC and that could have been handed into the OC for laundering so there is no real mystery there but where is the proof they handed the pink blanket back?

It did seem to feature in later videos but was that from a position of "handed back" or "retained as evidence".  I couldn't tell.   If Eddie had alerted to the blanket in these later videos I would have wondered how Kate would have explained that?

She must have done if she carried the twins up to the Payne's because they went before the photos were taken which were taken before the blanket was given to the dog handler. Logic.

This seems like an event Kate would remember doing so it possible for SY to confirm the order of events even if they are not clear to us ATM.

It wouldn't be the normal behaviour of an abductor to return the lost girl back to the reception area.  That would need some special theory  to account for behaviour like that.  Firstly take the child out of 5A through the locked door, then walk around the building you have abducted the child from, go to the car park area, and then proceed to the secondary reception building. 
That does not seem like the behaviour of a child abductor to me.
