He he. Debut novel out. Male author.

Not really read ever so much on the McCann stuff to be honest. There's been so much media sensationalism it's been hard to know what to think.

Will check out the Cardiff 5 link.

Well, if you weren't the eventual winner, I think I've solved it at last. At first I thought the debut novel was about Mr. Yunioshi, Holly Golightly's very non-pc photographer neighbour who kicks off the slapstick opening scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's (cameo role by Mickey Rooney). Strange that your book was reviewed by his namesake Jenny Rooney.

But now I know that it's - 'Who is Mr. clear thinking, quick witted or wise ?'... would it better to go for a cheap 99p pre-read, or an exclusive twenty-five quid signed edition for investment purposes, on ebay ?

You never know, you could be in line for a future Nobel Literature Prize after all... (and I might make a bit of money as well).
It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

Your detective skills need a little honing I'm afraid.

Wrong on every count, if I were you I'd bag a £7.99 first edition paperback before its too late, lets face it you can't resell a £1.99 kindle version.

40 reviews on amazon now, 36 five star.

Come on, you can do it... ;-)

Well, I'll go to the back of our street or top of our stairs !!! (can't decide which)
Aahh, got it now ! .. how was I to know you had a doppelgänger ?
If the Novel website hadn't missed out the "M" I would have guessed it right first time.. well, that's my excuse anyway.
From the land of the Brontës, Alan Bennett, Tony ('V') Harrison (love that poem) and... erm, rhubarb.

I reckon I deserve a copy gratis for all the effort and free publicity.
Enjoyed listening to the radio interviews, BTW.

(Shona dearest, you knew who it was all along... you just liked seeing me dig a deeper hole for myself !)

Ha ha ha, excellent post.

You have found me, I feel slightly stalked but ever so slightly popular ;-)

Thanks for taking an interest, I may just gift you a kindle version if you a) read it b) promise to review on amazon and c) absolutely love it ;-)

Deal?

That's very kind of you, joff... but do you really trust me with a review, I might join the other miserable g*t who gave you  ** 's ? :- (   (just been reading some of them now)

Unfortunately I don't have a Kindle; any epub's or pdf's I normally read with calibre, Nitro, or Adobe reader, although I have downloaded the Kindle for PC app. from amazon.

So if you want to and I can get it to run on my PC, and find my darned amazon password, I'll accept the deal.
(**thinks**... what have I let myself in for)

Off to bed now so speak tomorrow.

The 2* was simply trying to buck the trend and be different and controversial.

Obviously at times not following the crowd makes you look slightly weird ;-)

Let me know if you get it going (maybe download a free book to see whether it works) and I'll hook you up with a free copy. Which I have to say, is rather nice of me...

Probably bought in haste for her dad's birthday without looking inside as a - Short Wave Repair Manual... but when he threw it back in her face she was a bit miffed and took it out on you.   Moral - Never judge a book by its cover.

Might take me about the same time to read and review the book as you took you to write it... let's see, that was about four years, wasn't it ? ; - )

Pm'd you.
