Good point

The McCanns have directly questioned Redwood  of the Yard's  'moment of revelation'

What does that mean  ?  ...  that the McCanns have no faith in Scotland Yard's investigation  ?  ... that they are undermining it ?  ...  that they are  (  as they did with the Portuguese police  )  running a  parallel investigation of their own  ?  ...  that Scotland Yard,  like the Portuguese police before them,  are  being 'unhelpful'  to the  McCanns  ?

It is,  as you say,  interesting

The answers very simple if you think about it...particularly as the McCanns are doctors...

Patient goes to their doctor to be told there is not much hope for them...but the doctor will do what they can.
Almost every intelligent person would search the net for other options and explore them...its quite natural...They would still go along with conventional treatment...no one would say they were undermining their doctor...happens all the time

Time is running out.

The McCann can either stay silent, or speak out.

They've allegedly spoken out, and what they are apparently saying is a repeat of what they've always said.

The Investigators are rubbish.

Now you could ask yourself what YOU would say if all of your lies were about to be revealed...the investigation is going well?

Hardly.

You would continue with the tactic previously proven to be successful - denigrate everyone who comes near the truth.

IIRC The only comment made by the McCanns is how pleased they are with the investigation.   Apart from that they have made no comments on the case.     How people can actually turn that on its head and convince themselves it means completely the opposite is a total mystery to me.
The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

Not while the British media are shoving the 3burglars/managers/cleaners down our throats.

The British public have shown they're still stuck in the early 20th century, when Nice White Professionals were beyond reproach, Doctors were the local Authority on Everything, and child abuse was something only the poors did.

They have a bovine like resistance to upsetting the social applecart, hence, the McCann's are Honest Members of the Establishment and always will be until they're proven  otherwise, per Lord Lucan.

I can't quibble too much about the principle of that  8(0(*

Do you believe they ever condemned Metodo3 for paying a psychic lawyer to substitute Mrs Cipriano's one against Mr Amaral ?

What evidence supports that allegation?
