Family member Melissa Small told The Sunday Mail that police were considering a scenario where Chloe was abducted in a bid to intimidate her father, who family members say was threatened about two months ago. 'They've done this to scare Garth. Garth has been very scared and this is why he is a mess,' said Ms Small. 'They're just messed up people. They need to not be on the street they need to not have children in their care. If they are the people, they are close family friends.'
Today, police were examining the CCTV clip above, filmed on a security camera belonging to a resident in the town. It shows two adults walking through a car park with what appears to be a young child around 6.20am on Thursday – the day Chloe was reported missing. Roughly 20 minutes later, the pair walk back across the car park unaccompanied.
Father of the missing child revealed that the blue fluffy toy she had with her had been washed before she was found. He also revealed that the family were moving away from the town. He said he would paint the family house before selling it.
