An excellent post Ian.  Maybe the parts can be copied and put together as a synopsis of the case against Jeremy Bamber.    8((()*/

I agree David. Put all 3 parts together Ian and I believe you have nailed the Bamber case down and an accurate and concise manner. Great work mate.

You have explained the case most eloquently Ian and would be ideal for anyone wanting to read about the case without having to delve through dozens of different topics.

Put them together as a separate topic on the Bamber board.  They can be left open for discussion or locked and identified as a hot topic.   8@??)(
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Hi everyone,
There is a point that I'd like to clear up. In just about every statement I have read about this case it gives Jeremy Bamber's car as being a Vauxhall Astra - this is the car that was overtaken by police on the night of the murders.
There are photos however, of a car at the back of Jeremy Goldhanger cottage showing not an Astra but a Citroen Pallas (HEV 806T) being searched after Bamber was arrested. Photo is shown in 'Photos of interest in the Jeremy Bamber case' Page 3 on this forum.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

The Citroen was Nevilles according to the text under the picture.

I can confirm that Jeremy had been given the use of a Vauxhall Astra by his father but that the smart Citroen had belonged to Nevill. Jeremy grabbed as much as possible soon after the murders despite the fact that  probate had not been granted. Hence, all assets of the estate would have been held in trust by the executor. However, I cannot say for sure whether the executor had authorised Jeremy and his gay friend, Brett Collins, to drive the Citroen.

And as a further point, we have always what happened to Brett Collins. Bamber apparently met him in either Australia or New Zealand and they were together a lot after the murders, including going on holiday abroad together. Collins was, however, not in the UK on the night of the killing as far as I know. I wonder if he could throw any further light on the case ? Does anyone have any knowledge of his whereabouts assuming that he is still alive ?

Thanks Dillion. I wondered why it was there. It highlights the greed and the sense of entitlement also doesn't it?
