And this is a song that I adore....

though most of you will hate it....

Thank you for this lovely song, S***a!

Here's an alternative 1974 version by a local folk duo - Gary and Vera Aspey.

Very moving and beautifully sung... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Sh__4blUw
It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

Keep seeing that bleedin Mars advert with the dog playing pan pipes.

Awesome 80's synth.

Earphones wedged right in, volume on full, the best way.

Never heard of Rosie Hardman before, bet not many have... but she's got a set of pipes that would shame a church organ!  No longer sings these days but does a fine line in bespoke greetings cards.

LOUSY LAPTOP SPEAKERS?

A simple way to increase the default maximum speaker volume:

Click on the Start button.

Open up the Control Panel.

Click or double-click on the Sound (loudspeaker) icon, in Classic View.

Click or double-click on your laptop's Speakers/Headphones icon in the box that opens up.

In the next Speakers/Headphones Properties dialog box, click on the Enhancements tab., then tick the Loudness Equalization tickbox.

Click on the Preview button to hear if the volume has increased above the default maximum.

Then click on Apply.

This should improve the loudness... especially of Rosie Hardman!

Who'd have thought that we'd ever agree on something?

I have the album... Great driving music.

Beautiful.

Yes. The first Belle and Sebastian albums were angelic.

While we're on a nostalgic guitar-fest... remember "Duelling Banjos" from "Deliverance"?  Only starts motoring after 2:20...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myhnAZFR1po

The illusion was shattered for me after reading that the banjo part was faked with camera trickery and in reality played by musician Mike Addis sitting behind the "redneck" Billy Redden, screencast for his unusual "look".

I'm loving this album.

I loved Nick Drake that you posted  8((()*/  Never heard of him before.  Interesting character:

The music I listen to is too boring and mainstream.

PM winging its way - lots of news to catch up on x
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?
