No, you just stick in what you feel you want to pay.   I bought a small quarter acre site with planning permission in Scotland in 1990 as it was offers over £10,000.

I put a bid of £18,050 in for it and won it by £50.   


I did feel I was daft at the time though as I was selling similar sites in N Ireland for between £8,000 and £10,000 !

I knew one English lady who received deposits totalling well over €15,000 just because her house failed to sell three times.  She was loving it!!   

Sounds like a scam to me??   8-)(--)

No it was frustrating to begin with but lots of English buyers were struggling to sell their homes in the UK and so were unable to complete.  The English lady who was selling her villa didn't give a toss in the end, she just got a new car out of it all and I got 3 x fees.   

I must admit it never happened often.

It isn't worth it at the moment Claudia, too many people chasing their tails although I have business associates still living out there full time who want me to get back into it.

What I have been doing is buying up select websites as they become available as businesses go belly up.  I have quite a few now in the areas that I will be going back into at some time soon.

Don't worry, they will all be listed here in due course...special terms for members and that includes sales and rentals!!
