Is that by the 'anonymous'  dossier compilers ?

Or perhaps the dogs will unleash brunt on her ?

Failing that Mr. No Face.

Hopefully she'll not have listened to everything she's being told on twitter and will by March have made a more considered and interesting film.

Nobody could object to that. Assuming it's not libelous.

Actually I wouldn't bank on it.

There is something incredibly naive or delusional about a person who is supposedly investigating information allegedly in pursuit of telling an untold story about a missing child.

The arrogance displayed is nothing short of incredible and if the internet is the source for her 'research' ... God help us all, but particularly those who have taken her seriously.

"  ... thank you so very much to all of the people involved with fighting for justice to do with not only Madeleine McCann now but Brenda Leyland as well and I'm very grateful for all of you wonderful people helping me to research this documentary I know we literally could not have done it without you because many people have literally spent the last seven years as online detectives searching this story inside out and do you know as the saying goes uh no stone has been unturned again I want to thank you ... " (Sonia Poulton)

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Arrogance? I don't know about SP obviously because I don't know the approach she's going to take, but why should this case be the only one the public can't write/broadcast about?

By the end of March it's pretty much four years since the British police got involved. It's perfectly legitimate to ask questions about that, and about the still unsolved case. There is public interest in both.

Admittedly the public have a poor record in pursuing that interest so far. But if Channel 5 can make documentaries, and Summers & Swan can publish, why can't others?

If you ... me ... Tom ... Dick ... or Sonia think we have the skills to author a work about Madeleine McCann which contains nothing but the truth ... not your truth or my truth but well researched facts backed up by evidence ... there is absolutely NOTHING to prevent it.

Why do you suggest it is otherwise?

You mean it's arrogant of someone to think/declare they can/have solved the case?

I'd agree with that. It's foolish as well. You have to present all the possibilities because we definitely can't rule any out.

Why is it arrogant then?

Under normal circumstances the police do try to keep the British public informed; in this particular case Portuguese secrecy laws apply ... and this is a Portuguese led case.

Are you suggesting that the public should have their questions answered at risk of alienating the Portuguese authorities and lose any hope of continuing the co-operation which may solve Madeleine's case?
Bear in mind ... we were warned in no uncertain terms at the beginning of this investigation what the expectations are ... I think the police should be left to get on with it and if they find anything worthwhile in the Poulton documentary, I am sure they will be appropriately grateful.

Of course they won't have questions answered, but that doesn't prevent them from making their thoughts known.

Or from recording the events. It's history.

Plus there is the hope that someone who is in a position to get answers to questions might read or view something they weren't previously aware of.

Personally I think it is arrogant (not to mention supremely foolish) to think you could possibly solve the case from the comfort of your living room, without full access to the full facts, all the files, witnesses, etc.

If SP is going to rely on 'the wonderful research' carried out by the wonderful researchers she mentions - then can we look forward to hearing wonderful revelations such as the following examples?:-

1. The partial bloody footprint found outside the bedroom door in 5A.

2. The McCanns mentioned NZ wine because they wanted a promotional campaign by suppliers of New Zealand wine..

3. Madeleine did not live with her parents for most of her 3-4 years.

4  It is possible that Madeleine had a prosthetic left arm. (apparently this can be seen on the 'birthday cake photograph)

5.The whole group were at Chaplins bar on the Tuesday night,

6. The undisturbed lichen on the window cill of 5A.

----------------------------------------

After 7 years of 'wonderful research' - leaving no stone unturned - all the above are just a few examples of the 'troo facts' and opinions resulting from that  'research' which are still being posted elsewhere.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

I very much doubt it Benice. Didn't you know they were forum myths ?
