Human Behavior

Human behavior refers to the range of behaviors exhibited by  humans and which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions,  values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion  and/or genetics.
Human Behavior  Human behaviour is experienced throughout an individual’s entire  lifetime.
It includes the way the killer act based on different factors  such as genetics, social norms, core faith, and attitude. Behaviour  is impacted by certain traits each individual has.
The traits vary  from person to person and can produce different actions or  behaviour from each person. Social norms also impact behaviour.
Humans are expected to follow certain rules in society, which  conditions the way people behave.
There are certain behaviours  that are acceptable or unacceptable in different societies and  cultures.
Core faith can be perceived through the religion and  philosophy of that individual. It shapes the way a person thinks  and this in turn results in different human behaviours.
Attitude can  be defined as "the degree to which the killer has a favorable or  unfavorable evaluation of the behavior in question." Your attitude  highly reflects the behaviour you will portray in specific situations.
Thus, human behavior is greatly influenced by the attitudes we  use on a daily basis.

1996 is a Leap Year

Most years have 365 days but leap years have 366 days in them.
The extra day,  February 29, makes up for the difference between a 365 day calendar and the  earth’s actual rotation around the sun.
Leap years happen 97 years out of every  400, not once every 4 years as is commonly assumed.
This means that years that  are divisible by 4 aren’t necessarily leap years.
Leap years are divisible by 4 unless the year is divisible by 100 and is also  divisible by 400.
Therefore 1600 and 2000 were leap years and 2400 and 2800  will be too.
The years that aren’t leap years are called “common years”.
The National Maritime Museum has more information on leap years.

This is a list of all the leap years in the 20th and 21st centuries:

1904, 1908, 1912, 1916, 1920, 1924, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1952,  1956, 1960, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004,  2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, 2040, 2044, 2048, 2052, 2056,  2060, 2064, 2068, 2072, 2076, 2080, 2084, 2088, 2092, 2096

February 29 is called an intercalary day.
Anthony TX claims to be the Leap Year  Capital of the World. Texans...  Statistically, about one in 1,461 births are a leapling; there are an estimated  200,000 in the US and 4.1 million worldwide.

Sketch Books can be a note pad
Sharpie markers can be used  Pages 27,28,29.  To See 1997

The Knob end shape and size of the bat was consistent with the damage made  to the right side of JonBenet head. The bat found out side the Butler door had  carpet fibers on the bat’s surface as those found in the Ramsey’s basement.

Our Jonbenet Investigation file about bats.

Slowpitch Softball Bats

Determine What Bat Fits Your Body
There are some standard rules of thumb in selecting the appropriate bat length.

The charts below offer some guidelines based on age and weight and height:

Determine Your Bat Length by Age
5-7 years old 24"-26"
8-9 years old 26"-28"
10 years old 28"-29"

Barrel size This includes both the length of the barrel--top part of the bat--and its diameter
The longer the barrel, generally, the larger the sweet spot for hitting the ball
The standard softball bat diameter is 2 1/2 inches

Bat taper

This is the diameter of the bat's handle  Standard bats are tapered 31/32 of an inch but can be slightly larger or smaller  depending on whether you want a lighter or heavier bat

Grip

The grip is simply the covering that bat manufacturers use on the handle of  aluminum bats
Leather or synthetic leather gives a tackier feel for a surer grip  Rubber grips absorb more of the shock

S.B.T.C. Printing of the ransom note -  CenTury  SchoolBook

Century Schoolbook is based on the earlier Century Roman

entury Schoolbook is familiar to many in North America as  being the typeface many first learned to read with. Morris  Fuller Benton utilized research done by Clark University that  showed young readers more quickly identified letter forms  with contrasting weight, but with the lighter strokes  maintaining presence.
Tests also showed the importance of  maintaining counter-form (the white space around the black  letter form) in recognizing the face at smaller sizes.  In  designing Century Schoolbook, M. F. Benton increased the  x-height, the stroke width, and overall letter spacing.
The  faces were issued over a period of five years, all of which  were designed by Benton and issued by A.T.F  Century is a family of type faces derived from the  original Century Roman cut by American Type  Founders designer Linn Boyd Benton in 1894.
Despite  originating in the nineteenth century, use of the  typeface remains strong, for periodicals, textbooks, and  literature.
The faces are noted for their exceptional  legibility, so much so that the Supreme Court of the  United States requires that briefs be typeset in Century  family type.
According to Charles Shaw, "The rugged  simplicity of the Century family of types has made it an  enduring favorite of American typographers for almost  one hundred years.
Beginning as foundry type, Century  has withstood a series of technical transformations into  Linotype, Mono type, Ludlow, photo type, transfer type,  digital type, and Xerox-like 'toner type'."

The writer of the ransom note printed with this stile of printing.

Winter Solstice

The winter solstice is the solstice that occurs in winter.
It is the time at which the Sun is appearing  at noon at its lowest altitude above the horizon.
In the Northern Hemisphere this is the Southern solstice,  the time at which the Sun is at its southernmost point in the sky, which usually occurs on December 21 to 22 each year.
Christmas or Christ's Mass is one of the most popular Christian celebrations as well as one of the most globally recognized  mid-winter celebrations in the Northern Hemisphere.
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, called the  "Son of God," the second person of the Holy Trinity, as well as "Savior of the World."
The birth is observed on December 25,  which was the Roman winter solstice upon establishment of the Julian Calendar. Activities include feasting, Midnight  Masses and singing Christmas carols about the Nativity. Good deeds and gift giving in the tradition of St. Nicholas or Santa  Claus is also observed.
Many observe the holiday for twelve days leading up to Epiphany.
The Winter Solstice has been celebrated in some way or another for thousands of years. In the Northern Hemisphere, the  winter solstice is often connected with various religious holy days.
Pagan religions associated the winter solstice with  significant life changes, intricately linked with the universe and fates that determined the future and effected those lives.
This  significance can also be found in the Southern Hemisphere, where the Winter Solstice takes place in June.

Crime Stoppers Poster

Contact:
Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers

You do not have to leave your name.
Or call 1-800 222-TIPS
Crime Stoppers utilizes a multimedia approach, for solving crime,  designed to gather evidence and information on unsolved crimes  through the cooperation  of local media.
Periodically a fugitive or  unsolved crime is selected by the Crime Stoppers Police  Coordinator, who distributes the information as supplied by  the  investigating agency, to the media publication, radio, television,  newspaper and/or billboard.
This is known as the Crime of the Week  and will result in a  reward to the individual who supplied the  information needed to solve the crime.

As of today, Jonbenet Ramsey does not have a Crime Stoppers poster. The Boulder police said they "we do nothing" when we tried to get their support for her poster. Why?

There is some thing not right here with them.

BOULDER -- Police are investigating another bizarre twist in the  JonBenet Ramsey murder case -- the theft of pages from a hospital  log book recording the arrival of her body at a morgue.
The theft was discovered after inquiries from the local News about  the status of those pages revealed that that they were, in fact,  missing.

On December 27th a man was crossing the Canadian border into the  United States from Portland, Oregon.
By the 28th he was on a bus  heading for Denver, Colorado.
This man got a job as a cadaver  transport driver in Denver, moving dead bodies for morgues.
This man  was a grave register clerk in the U.S.Army in 1987 and had previously  worked in the mortuary business in San Francisco.
On May 22, 1997 this man stole the December 26, 1996 morgue log  sheet from the county morgue that showed when JonBenet Ramsey was  taken to the morgue. With that he became a suspect on the JonBenet  Ramsey murder case.

"I took the morgue records as a souvenir of a famous murder case. The  Ramsey case was on about month four at the time. I had to wait while  picking up a corpse so I leafed through the log-in book and found the  listing and took it"

A 34 year old man was arrested for theft under  $100 and criminal mischief for stealing pages  from a coroner's log book showing the arrival of  JonBenet's body at the county morgue.

"I took the morgue records as a souvenir of a famous murder case"

The man sent copies of his art work to friends  and then was turn in by one of his friends.

Southern Bell Telephone Company - S.B.T.C

Lineman's handset

A lineman's handset is a special type of telephone used by technicians for  installing and testing local loop telephone lines.
It is also called a test set,  butt set, or buttinski.
A typical 1996 lineman's handset integrates an earpiece, a mouthpiece, a  dialing interface, and a set of test leads for connecting to the telephone  circuit.
Originally, lineman's handsets featured a rotary dial, but modern sets  use some variant of the standard 12-button DTMF keypad.
Most handsets  are designed to be used with analog "POTS" lines, and have limited or no  function with digital circuits.
In addition to the basic features listed above, handsets often include one or  more of: Speakerphone Redial A talk/monitor toggle switch Mute Hook flash button Tone/pulse dialing selection switch Low-pass filtering to prevent disruption of data communications (such as  DSL)
A mechanical hook for hanging the set from a tool belt or carabiner.
On  some sets, it may be moved to the receiver side, mouthpiece side, or  removed altogether.
The killer said he would monitor the family.

This lineman's telephone  may lets the killer connect  to a telephone line  anywhere he has access  to the wires! Just connect  it to the red and green  wires of a telephone line  and you're set.
You can  then monitor that line as  well as dial outgoing calls.
Connect inside or outside   the house or alleyway.

Handset could be use to cause head damage.

The house phone system tie in block was  located on the North side of the house.

The ransom note printed that they would MOINTOR the family.

Hi JBI

I don't know that much about this case but I agree it is unique and without precedent.

As in most cases of child abuse, abduction and murder, the police rightly look to the parents in the first instance.  However, despite some evidence to the contrary I note that they continue to be suspected for various reasons.  Noted that JonBenét's mother, Pat Ramsey, died on the 24th June 2006 from ovarian cancer.

That said, the manner of her death would lead one to not suspect a parent.

That is what happen when a untrain Boulder police department took on this investigation. They made many mistakes in this case and this is why it is a cold case.

They over look many crime scene items because it did not support their persons of interest.

The Ramsey's family did not kill Jonbenet and the new DNA testing also support this.

There are new persons of interest on the list and have not been check out at this time.

There are many untested crime scene items that have not been tested, we plan to test one item this year that could break this case.

There are people in jail today that did not commit the crime. Think about how this happens. The Ramsey's almost became one of those convicted that did not commit the crime.

This happens all too often, an investigator gets tunnel vision wrt a suspect and will do all they can to fit them up.

One question which puzzles me is, why would someone simulate an abduction while leaving the victim in a cellar store room when there was every likelihood she would be found before any money was paid?

Also, why Christmas Day when there was every possibility of lots of people being at home?

As we work on this case, I talk to John Ramsey from time to time. He has been very helpful.

I posted about this but here is how the Boulder police acted to this question.

We know that many killers will have a need to relive their crimes over and over again.
They can do this in many way. They some times will talk about their crimes to a friend or love one.
This person then must hold this information deep inside them self and it may be hard for this person to do so. They could use a safe way to do the right thing a tell some one.

That said, We have a program that is called Crime Stoppers, it has help solve many crime each year.

As we look deeper into this case, we found out that JonBenet does not have a Crime Stoppers poster. So I made some calls and one call was to John Ramsey and he said they would not let him use the 1 800 tip line on his poster.

I called Northern CO Crime Stopper and talk about the idea of a new first time poster for JonBenet. They said they would not support this poster with out the Boulder police support.
So I called the Boulder police and they said "We Will Do Nothing"
With out the Boulder police support, Crime Stoppers in Boulder will not allow the 1 800 tip line to be used.
The Boulder area Crime Stopper said they sent a letter to John back then telling him to take off the 1 800 tip line number off a flier that could have help the case.

Why can't a six year old girl name 'JonBenet Ramsey" not have a Crime Stoppers poster for her case?
Does their actions seam right?
Its like they are covering up for something. This case has many items like this as one look deeper into this crime.
As a lab, we will get the job done, but it take longer with out the support to do the right thing in this case.

The idea for a JonBenet Ramsey Crime Stoppers poster is to give some one that may know some thing about this case a safe place as a 1 800 tip line to do the right thing. "You do not have to leave your name"

The Boulder police has not done the best job and we have to ask our self why?

I find this case very disturbing as we review all of the over look crime scene information.

Also, why Christmas Day when there was every possibility of lots of people being at home?

I have not posted about this yet.
Here is a little about that question many have ask.

Profile of the killer:

The killer travel on foot, bike and bus.
He wear a backpack as he travels

The killer enter the Ramsey home right after they left for a Christmas dinner.
He printed the ransom note before the crime.

The idea was never to take Jonbenet out of the house. JonBenet would be taken to the finish basement and they could monitor the family from this location, this was a very large house.

The killer printed in the ransom note many time that he would kill JonBenet if they call for help.

Because the killer and Jonbenet was in the basement, the police could not be called as they would find them in the basement and the crime is over.

The killer could monitor the family very well from the basement and when he hear the family call the 911 call to police, he knew this crime was over and did what he printed many times in the ransom note, he kill JonBenet and goes up the basement steps, out the butler door and down the back alleyway.

This butler was found open and unlock that morning by police.

The killer had no place to take JonBenet in this crime, The design of the crime was to hide in this large four level house. A simple crime if they follow the ransom note and do not call for help.

The ransom note was in the family hand at the time of the 911 call to police so the killer was not going to try to get the note and leave with it.

This is why JonBenet was in the basement and the ransom note was in the family hands in the house after the crime.

I will post step by step how this crime went down, case facts the has not been made public.
It will become very clear at that point.
