Century Schoolbook is based on the earlier Century Roman

 Century Schoolbook is familiar to many in North America as being the typeface many first learned to read with. Morris Fuller Benton utilized research done by Clark University that showed young readers more quickly identified letter forms with contrasting weight, but with the lighter strokes maintaining presence. Tests also showed the importance of maintaining counter-form (the white space around the black letter form) in recognizing the face at smaller sizes. In designing Century Schoolbook, M. F. Benton increased the x-height, the stroke width, and overall letter spacing. The faces were issued over a period of five years, all of which were designed by Benton and issued by A.T.F.

The killer travels on foot, bike and bus. The crime was never to take the child out of the house.
Simple crime:
Print a long ransom note and print many times, SHE DIES if you call police or do not follow our instruction to the letter. This will take 30 mintues to print the note before the crime, preplan.
Stay in the house, monitor the family from the finish basement. Keep the child hidden and print in the long note she was taken by a group. This make the note longer.
It Christmas, so the banks will be open the next morning, so he must weight in a warm place that let him mointor the family. This is in the house.
He can not take the child because he travel on foot, bike and bus. A good walking show will be common, like the foot impresion found in the wine cellar Hi-Tec, the walking shoe.
Simple crime, Place a long ransom note, Stay in the house with the child hidden, call them with there house phone from the finish basement phone for instuction. Get the money and leave the child fulley dress in the home when they get back from the money diverly.
Simple crime.
Your right, when the 911 call was place, the crime was over, and he was very mad, The child was choke and hit in the head to die, like print many time in the ransom note. This made it a long note.
What a simple crime, leave marker in the house, use items from the house, simple crime.
The child would have been found with damages from that long night if not dead.

If you wanted to hurt the family for life. Then damage the child so she would have year or a life time of problems remembering that night. So killing was not the best choise if the killer was mad at the family and want a long turm revence. The child would be damage for file if she lives.
This is the killer profile.
Get mony and leave them a damage child. Now that a person that has a problem with the family.

Do we think that the money was that main reason for this crime?
Yes, it was a major part of the preplan crime,$118,000.00 is not a large amount of money for a business man like John. He could withdraw this amount with out to much problem or attention. A larger amount would cause some attention. Well preplan by the killer.
Was the killing the mane preplan part of the crime. As in the ransom note printing, Yes KILLING, only if the family does not follow the instruction to the letter. So killing was not final at the time of the printing the note, but KILLING would be part of the crime if they called 911 and or did not follow the instuction to the letter. This crime was design to ajust as the event move forward and changes. This make for a long ransom note.
It would seam hard for the killer to just call the family from the main floor house phone with a long talk and maybe being heard down stairs, so a ransom note would do the trick. It will need to be very detailed and this would make the ransom note very long because this would be a one time chance to instruct them on what to do and what not to do and how it will move forward. He is in the house. Al this was done in just 2 and 1/2 pages.
The 911 call and the head damage are link. The profile and the ransom note wording said she will be safe if they do not call police. Yes or no to here death, we will not know at this time.

In the basement was a storage room that had Christmas items and golf clubs etc. This room has the bottom end of the cloth shout enter this room at the location of a old window before the addition to the house. The West / corner. All so there was a cover over window in this room that was found open and a chair located under this window. the window is located behind the butler counter and was used by past worker to monitor the family Conversations. Nnext to this room was the counter that the basement phone was located. In the room was a washer and dryer. This may be the spot were the TWO white blankets was taken from and used to cover Jonbenet.
The killer could easily monitor the family from this basement location and even the second floor next to JonBenet bedroom and the third floor back hallway to the parents bedroom. He could hear the movement very well from this location. He printed that the police and the family inside the house was monitored. How? He was in the house to do this.
As soon as the 911 call to police, he killed JonBenet in anger and left the home, up the basement steps, out the butler door that was found open and down the alleyway.
The crime was over at the time of the 911 call. He printed a long ransom note for the purpose that his crime will not work if they call for help.
The pull cord would have killer JonBenet but the added blow to the head finish he off as he left the home. A failed crime he so carefully plan.

What you need to know that day that many do not know in this case.
As our team works on the case, I have the chance to take with the only person that was there that day. John has been very helpfull on the question that have been ask.
From the file: this is fact.
At one point that morning, John was down in the basement looking for any clues that was not as it should be. In the middle of the house in the basement had a door, behind this door was a room that held the location from the past home owners od a elevator shaft. The door to this small room had a door that had a old safty on the knob that would not let you open the door from inside this room. John noted that the freash paint was mark up at the lock side of the door jam. This was new marks. It look as if the killer went to the back of the long space and the spring on the door close and he was lock in. The profile predict he was looking for a good place to hide JonBenet for this crime early in the day. He pride the door open and left damage to the metal frame.
This was over look by Boulder police because it did not match their person of interest.
Think, damage to the basement door that had been freasly paint weeks before.
The shaff went up to the third floor when the Ramsey broght the house but it was in the middle of the rooms at eacj level so they had it taken out. They only left the basement steel frame and safty door and lock.
The killer left many clue that he was there. We have a large list of these clues. Boulder police over look items that would clear the family and they spen over $2,000,000.00 trying. It sill a cold case.

The killer leave right after the 911 call to police. He has seven minutes to do so.
The profile show us he has a rock climbing background. These are people that hang high of a rock hanging by a cord 1,000 of feet in the air conected by a small nail. That fearless, so hiding in a large house that is warm and dry weight for $118,000.00 and harming a litter girl was riskey to him.
His profile show us he is a risk taker, not like us, so we will not understand his thinking.
Rock climbers uses knot tieing and ropes, these were a major part of this crim. Allso the mark on the wine cellar floor was from a tool used in climbing, a carabiner. Clinber use fingerless black gloves to help in tieing knots, black fibers were found at the crime scene.

The killer profile:

We predict that the killer has a rock climbing background.

(Hi-Tec shoe print, Knot tying, Rope found in bedroom, Cord used, carabiner imprint in wine cellar, black gloves fibers wipe on JonBenet- fingerless wool climbing gloves.)

He has a background as a instructor-teacher

(Ransom note text, "Listen carefully! ", "follow our instructions to the letter." Dog ear page one of the ransom note as teacher do every day teaching. Etc.)

The killer had a art background

(Green paint painted on JonBenet chin, Uses of a paint stick in the crime, Red ink drawing on Jonbenet hand, Uses of the center pages of the note pad, just like a sketchbook, Using a water base Sharpie marker to print the ransom note-this is a art safe marker used by arties, tub of green paint math paint on JonBenet chin found in tote, the carefull placement of the brush broken end back in the paint tote.)

Profile:
The fearless killer plan his crime on Christmas. Teachers have time off this time of year and on one would pay any attention to being gone.
The desk in the basement was taken by the Boulder police, We predict he drew a sketch of JonBenet tied to a chair that night for his prof of the crime. His Trofee.
No one would expect a crime like this on Christmas, He pick the best day to suprise the family.

Character revelations from the handwriting:

Rigor mortis
(Latin: rigor "stiffness", mortis "of death") is one of the recognizable signs of death, caused by chemical changes in the muscles after death, causing the limbs of the corpse to become stiff and difficult to move or manipulate. In humans, it commences after about three to four hours, reaches maximum stiffness after 12 hours, and gradually dissipates from approximately 24 hours after death.
It is known to start at about THREE hours.

Time line :
 Killed at around 5:50 am and found at 1:05 pm
This is over SEVEN HOURS.
She would have been over 60% of full rock hard maximum stiffness rigor mortis at 1:05 pm.
Over the next four to six hours, rigor mortis spreads to the other muscles, including those in the internal organs such as the heart. The onset of rigor mortis is more rapid if the environment is cold and if the decedent had performed hard physical work just before death. Its onset also varies with the individual's age, sex, physical condition, and muscular build.

Approximate times for algor and rigor mortis in temperate regions

Body temperature - Body stiffness - Time since death

warm - not stiff - dead not more than three hours
cool - stiff dead - 3 to 8 hours
cold - stiff dead - 8 to 36 hours
cold - not stiff - dead more than 36 hours

JonBenet was place on top of a cold not heated and a damp concrete floor for SEVEN hours. The out side temperature was around 7d that night, very cold in Boulder CO. JonBenet only had on at the time she was located, night ware. At one point she may have had no night ware on that night.
From the official table above, she was over the seven hour mark near the eight hour mark.
Cool to cold body temperature if found in a warm room, but she was found on a very cold concrete floor. This would have her in a cold body temperature and in a stiff condition.
John Ramsey pick her up and noted that she was cold and stiff. Case fact. He was not a expert on rigor mortis in the court of law but he would know if the child was cold and stiff at some level.
Killer near 5:50 am and found at 1:05pm works in all tables on rigor mortis.

Profile of the ransom note placement:
The question has come up to what step was use to display the ransom note?
On TV shows and movies, they are never clear about the placement. They do not know, why?
The police will keep back pieces of crime scene information that only the killer and the police will know. This can be helpfull in ID the person that commited the crime. So the public will not know all of the importance details of the crime.
Pasty Ramsey said to police that she went down the back stairs with items in her hands. She step ove the paper on the steps near the bottom of the stairs.
When police tried this, they couod not do this with out steping on the pages, the ransom note did not show any sighs of foot impressions. Then how could Patst do this when the police could not. The Grand Jury too found this hard to understand. Was she lieing, if so, then the jury would use this to help make up their minds on this case. Boulder police could not do this.
I ask John this qiestion, What step was the spread out ransom note found on?
He said "Patst was the first to see it, She read the note first. Maybe step ONE,TWO or THREE." So today I do not know this answer to the question, So we can used the killer's profile to predict answer to the question.
Killer's Profile:
The crime scene and the profile predict the killer has a art background. He will display his works of art on wall for every one to see.(Upright position).
The pages used to print the ransom note came from the middle of the family used note pad located in the back hall way on a counter. The killer carefully took the pages for the center of the note pad, these page will be wrinkel free and in perfit shape like the condition of the ransom note found at the crime scene.
As a arties, he need a perfit work space material like paper to print his art work, the ransom note. The instink of the killer is to do things that he knows and is uses to doing. Like hanging his art work upright on a wall for all to see.
The killer need to pick a place that every one onr find and see his art work, the ransom note. He knows the it is east to see if the items are place in a upright position.
Patsy Ramsey uses the bottom stair area as a remimber to place items that she need to remember to take with he the next day for travel. The killer seam to know this and he pick the back stairs for this. He places the three page on one of the bottom steps in and upright postion just kike he does with all of his art work, wasy to see and can not be miss. Spread out just like Pasty Ramsey said to police.
The three page ransom note spread out in the upright position would make it easy to step over the ransom note just like she said. I wish the Grand Jury understood this. They may have think she was lieing because of how the Boulder police handle the case information.
John was right, the spread out ransom note in a upright position would rest on two steps. One ,Two or Three.
Remember, the police will hold back peices of information from the public because only the police and the killer would know this information that would ID him as the killer.

All most all items used in the crime can be seen from the back side yard thought the glass in the kitchen door. The ransom note displayed in a upright position would make it easy for someone to monitor the importance time that the note was discovered. If it was to lay flat on the step, this would had to see and monitor from the side yard location.

Bedroom Door Found Close

Patsy said in her interview that she left Jonbenet in her bed in her bedroom. She left the bedroom door partway close the bedroom so that the hallway night light would not shine in JonBenet eyes.
This was an every night event.
When Patsy got up and went to the second floor area, she notice JonBenet bedroom was in a all most close position, not like she all way left it. Why?
The crime scene could be monitor from the side yard if the bedroom door was place in a close position after removing Jonbenet form her bedroom. this light from the hall way would shine and this could be seen from the side back yard throught the bedroom glass windows and glass door.
The ransom note printed that they will monitor the family. using the side location and closing Jonbenet bedroom door would help in monitoring if any one check on JonBenet that night.
The killer need all information to stay in control.
Now you know why the bedroom door to Jonbenet room was close by the killer as Patsy stated to police how she found it that morning.

When the writer or killer uses the world (I) he the writer most likely is telling the truth.
There was TWO foot impressions found in the wine cellar not ID to the family or people in the house that day.
There was a mud shoe print near a basement window too that was never ID to made it.

. One or more monitoring the house, the ransom note tell us this, may be or may be not. The profile predict that three people could have perform this crime.
We are working on the ONE person that wrote the ransom note and left the unknown DNA on JonBenet and on her night ware.

The killer of Jonbenet spell some words wrong.
Printing the letters S.

Ransom Note
The writer misspells two common words in lines #4 and #5, "business" and "possessions."
 The two misspellings occur in the first paragraph.
After that, the writer uses correct grammar except for using the article "a" when he should have written "an."
This is further indication the misspellings were done on purpose.
The writer showed his true writing skills and forgot to misspell words throughout the note.
The killer added the letter S to Business and left off the letter S in the word Possessions.
The letter S is a problem for the killer and he has the hand movement as if he was printing the number 5.
The JBI profile predict that the killer lives near a highway with the number 5 in the road name. 5 is an importance number to the killer.

In the basement at the Ramsey home, Boulder police ask the family if they took any pictures of JonBenet there, they all so ask if any pencils was sharpen and the shaving drop to the floor.
Our lab profile predict the killer has a art background and he use the desk that was taken by the Boulder police to draw JonBenet that night as a Trofee.
