New Tool for Team JBI!

The 214CA offers the advantages of an environmentally sealed chamber for the processing of fingerprints with ninhydrin and iodine. Because the chamber is constructed of Fiberglass, it is not subject to the severe corrosive effects of iodine fumes. All parts internal to the chamber are of stainless steel. Upper and lower ports allow for the connection of an exhaust system. The unit’s silicone-encapsulated heater is self-limited to surface temperatures of no more than 450° to prevent the possibility of the formation of cyanide gases during glue fuming. A programmable digital temperature controller controls chamber temperature. Optimum ninhydrin processing temperature and iodine fuming settings are available via front panel switches. Processing can be monitored through a large Plexiglas™ front panel. Chambers are supplied with three document hanging rods, six document clips, ninhydrin spray, ninhydrin fixative, iodine crystal ampoules, iodine print enhancers, disposable fuming trays, a watch glass and complete instructions.

Forensic Investigation is a every day changing science. People from all over the world have and can contributes to the cause. This work solves crimes and that is good for every one.

I sure enjoy the every changing technique used in solving  crimes.

Today we can do more that ever before.

Just think about the family that lives with out knowing who kill their child and is running free to kill others.

Money should not decide if a case is solve because of a needed special tool to solve that crime.

A bad investigation and the use of bad science can cause a case to stay cold.

The question about the Jonbenet Ramsey's case, we are new to this case and there is a lot to understand to move this case forward. and we will.

Ransom Note - Page One - Dog-Earing

The Ransom Note was printed on white paper taken from the middle of a note pad  of paper located at Ramsey’s' home and printed with a old marker found in side a  can located in the kitchen. Additional sheets were missing from the note pad and  was never located at the crime scene. The marker used to write the Ransom Note  was sourced to an out of production marker was found placed in with other pens in  a normal place for pens by the kitchen phone. Also, there was another page in the  note pad that was written on it "Mr. and Mrs. I," which many experts believe to  have been an early "false start" of the Ransom Note.  The crime scene techs inside the house had recovered three Sharpie felt-tip pens  from an orange metal container that was on the kitchen counter beneath the  telephone from which Patsy called 911 that day, The ransom note came from a  note pad on a counter top near by, the U.S. Secret Service had determined that  one of those pens, a pre-November 1992 water- based ink Sharpie marker, was  used to write both the practice and actual ransom notes. The Secret Service,  which maintains a database on inks because of federally mandated assignment to  locate forgers. The ink on the ransom notes was unique in the collection of  approximately 6,900 ink standards from the Ink Library. The JBI profile predict that  the killer brought the markers to the crime scene because he uses this type of  water base safe ink on his art work, leaving the markers there to set up the family.  The Sharpie marker was about 5 inches long just like the broken paint stick use in  this crime. The killer Dog-Ear the first page of the ransom note to keep track of  page one as he moves around the house and completed the note. JBI testing  shows it takes about 30 minutes to print the ransom note.

Dog-earing is also commonly used to mark a  section in a note pad that one finds to be  important or of personal meaning.

Wherever the killer steps, whatever he touches, whatever he leaves, even unconsciously, will serve as silent witness against him.
Not only his fingerprints or his footprints, but his hair, the fibers from his clothing, the glass he breaks, the tool mark he leaves, the paint he scratches, the blood or semen he deposits or collects..
All of these and more bear mute witness against him.
This is evidence that does not forget.
It is not confused by the excitement of the moment.
It is not absent because human witnesses are, it is factual evidence, physical evidence cannot be wrong, it cannot perjure itself; it cannot be wholly absent, only its interpretation can err.
Only human failure to find it, study and understand it, can diminish its value.

What Facts do we know about the ransom note:

The ransom note:

The ransom note was not handwriting, it was brain writing.
The ransom note was PRINTED, not hand writen.
His choice of pens was a water base ink marker, the arties choice.
The marker fits his hands to the letter, Five inches and he broke the paint stick to the same size.
The ransom note tells us more than the words on the note.

Here how.

Prusik Knot (Triple Sliding Hitch) Tying

Use a piece of white cord formed into a loop.

Pass the knot around the rope three times inside the loop.

Make sure the turns lie neatly beside each other and pull the knot tight.

Cord and Garrote

"A single loop of white cord was around the right wrist, tied on top of the sleeve but so loosely the doctor easily slid it free. There were 15 1/2 inches between that loop and a loop on the other end, which once apparently had bound the left wrist. A white cord of the same type was wrapped so tightly around the throat and neck that a deep horizontal furrow had been dug into the skin. A gold chain and cross were tangled in that ligature, which was tied behind the neck to a broken stick. Blond hair was snared in the knot, and the coroner had to cut the hair in order to remove the cord, which was tied more like a noose than a twisting garrote. The broken paintbrush used as the garrote handle had Korea printed on it.

At the top of the stairs, if you look to the right, you would see a double stack washer and dryer in a closet. Look to the center of the room and right, you would see a L shape counter and cabinets.
Straight ahead, the door to the spear bedroom.
To the left was JonBenet bedroom, the door would be in a 1/2 open position at night. Her mother would leave this door this way so the ceiling light near the washer and dryer would not shine in on her eyes at night.
If you could place yourself there that night, the hall way light would all ways be on. You would not be dark.
But what you may hear in a silent house is the TIC TOC of the small clock on the wall to the right of her door.
The bedroom door open to the left as one goes into the room. It would not open all the way because the bag hanging on the inside knob.
