In 2008, a few months before she left office, Lacy apologized to the Ramseys, saying, “I believe it is important and appropriate to provide you with our opinion that your family was not responsible for this crime.” She cited the “unknown” male DNA found in JonBenet’s underwear, consistent with that found on the waistband of her leggings. “The match of male DNA on two separate items of clothing worn by the victim at the time of the murder makes it clear to us that an unknown male handled these items,” she wrote. “Based on the DNA results and our serious consideration of all the other evidence, we are comfortable that the profile now in CODIS (the Combined DNA Index System) is the profile of the perpetrator of this murder.”

Q & A Question

Question:

"Is it true John Ramsey went down into the basement on his own a short time before he was asked to go down with his friend and search it by a police officer?"

"MarkBeckner"

"That is according to what he told police."

Q & A Question

Question:

"all the physicians who examined JonBenet's body said she had been sexually violated many times -except the Ramseys doctor! Yet, the sexual motive was rarely mentioned later in the case. Why?"

MarkBeckner:

'It just didn't seem to fit the totality of the circumstances. Remember, she was hit on the head first, hard enough to render her unconscious. Then there was the staging of a kidnapping. Why do that if the motive is purely sexual?"

The crime scene and the chain of events does not support that she was hit in the head first.

At round 10:00 PM Christmas night the family went to bed. JonBenet was put to sleep in her bed located in the back part of the house.

After that time, the killer enter her bedroom and push the bedroom door open. He walk up to JonBenet bed and pull back her blankets, he pull them down and then back up a little and then carefully remove her pillow and place it to the base of her bed. The pillow is place in the long direction with the position of the bed. The blankets and the pillow was pulled back to the end of her bed neatly. The blanket first then the pillow. White cord fibers was found that match the cord used in this crime on her bed. The killer tied a 96 inch long white cord around Jonbenet neck and pulled it tight to stop her from making any sounds as he take a stun gun and places it to her back. 50,000 volts, Jonbenet could not make any sound because the cord around her neck cut off air to her lungs as he pull and held the cord tight.

The stun gun made it easy for the killer to control Jonbenet as he left the bedroom. The door to the bedroom was kept in a 1/2 open position by her mother each night to allow the hallway ceiling light to act as a night light. The killer now with JonBenet in his arms, closes the door to the door jam and went down the back steps toward the basement. With the door closed all the way, now the dark bedroom viewed from the outside could be used as a signal that Jonbenet was taken from her bedroom as the ransom note stated that the house was being monitor. The morning that Patsy enter the second floor area, she notice that Jonbenet bedroom door was in a close postion, not as she all ways left the door each night. This was the first signs that some thing had happen that night.

Cord marks was found on Jonbenet neck. The cord used on JonBenet was the type of cord used for holding up a tent. 96 inches long and was cut in haft with a dull blade. The other cut end of the cord was used to tie her hands that night. Cord mark was also found around her waste, as if she was tied to a basement chair that night.

The blow to her head came last.

John first saw Patsy in the spring of 1979. According to her mother's account, "He saw her as she entered an apartment in Atlanta, Georgia. He ran up a flight of stairs just to glimpse who she was." John did not meet her that time though, since she disappeared out of sight before he could catch her, but after waiting around outside he finally saw her again and introduced himself. Luckily for him, the pair hit it off and within one year they were married. John describes how delighted he was when Patsy liked him too.

The announcement about the Ramsey children marked the first time in the 10-week investigation that police have removed any name from the list of suspects.

In the home at the time of the crime was the 9 years old son. The other two children of John's was out of state at that time.

John Andrew Ramsey, a 20-year-old student at the University of Colorado, and his sister, Melinda Ramsey, a 25-year-old nurse in Roswell, Ga., were "publicly cleared of involvement to relieve them of stress caused by inappropriate speculation,"

John had been married before he met Patsy, and had three children with his previous wife Lucinda Ramsey: Elizabeth, Melinda, and John Andrew.

Ramsey's eldest daughter from his first marriage, Elizabeth Pasch Ramsey, died in a 1992 car accident at the age of 22.

According to John Douglas in The Cases That Haunt Us, the killer of JonBenét Ramsey was a white male, relatively young, who held a personal grudge against John Ramsey and sought to attack him personally by attacking his daughter. He broke into the house carrying the stun gun, the duct tape and the cord, planning to incapacitate her and molest her. The ransom note was probably a spur of the moment idea that occurred to him after he entered the house. He would have been bold and foolhardy enough to sneak into the house and lie in wait and too unsophisticated to know how difficult a child abduction is. The molestation may have been a kind of sexual experimentation. Because teenagers tend to fold quickly during questioning by investigators, he may not even have been investigated as a suspect.

Thank you. I suspect the murderer was very young, since the torture seemed to be of more importance than a sexual motive.
Also the smiley face on her hand and he beat her head after strangling her.

If the murderer was hidden in the house, which apparently he was, as there were no footmarks in the snow, surely he would have to use the bathroom...................No evidence there?
Why Christmas day?

As for the dna eventually found on her leggings.........Did they go to the laundry? How many people handled them before they were tested, years later?

The weather in Boulder that week, was very cold at night 7 d and near 60 d in the day. The week old snow was only in the front grass. The side yards and all side walks was clear of any snow. This means that most of the yard did not have any snow on the grass that morning. The night before, some parts of Boulder has a very light dusting. The winds was from the South East at 10 mph. This TRACE amount of dusting would not collect on the North West side of the thirty foot tall house. This is the area of the Butler kitchen service door that was found unlock and open that morning. This door was just a few step from the basement steps. A child ball bat was found near this door and was not source to the family. The bat had fibers the match the carpet wear Jonbenet was killed.

The miss information about the snow was one of many put out there by the Boulder police and the media ran with it.

The DNA found in JonBenet pantie match the DNA found on two sides of her long johns. This means the person that pulled down her long johns, also left his DNA in the blood inside her pantie. Because her outfits was wash each week, their should not have been any white male DNA on JonBenet night wear. Inside or outside.

If the Boulder police had the other items tested, we would find this DNA on other items.
Remember, the pantie came from a new pack of underwear. Never before used on JonBenet. She wore a size six and these was size 12, to large for her. The killer undress her and redress her that night. Side 12 pantie was a gift for some one but JonBenet wanted them for herself, they was stored in her bathroom cabinet.

I thought a window was open in the cellar, so why the unlocked door near the cellar? Escape route?
He knew in advance exactly where the child's bedroom was also.

So well planned and yet a very confusing and cruel murder, Why the need to be so cruel, if it was because of a dislike for her father?

It reminds me of the Venables and Mary Bell murders.

There was no window in the wine cellar, there was two useable windows in the finish part of the basement.
The other windows were cover over and did not exit to the out side after remodeling.

The basement window was broken and unlock. Webs and dust was still in place. I do not support that this basement window was used as a enter or exit location. Boulder police does not too.

The window was damage that summer by John Ramsey when he got lock out of the house that summer.
The glass was clean up but the window's glass had not been repaired as of that day.

This was old damage.

We have a full profile and complete change of events that match the crime scene.

He use the remote control in his car to open the garage door to the house, the inside service door to the house inside the garage was all way kept unlock. No key required, Just push the button and your in the house. One day the inside door became lock. Patsy and the kids was in Michigan all summer. So John broke this small basement window to enter the house with out causing major damage to the house.

The question is, who was in the house that day and lock the service door to the garage?
That is the question I have not asked.

When John open the door to the wine cellar, he knew he had found JonBenet. She was place in the back center of this 10 X 12 windowless room. Her feet pointed toward the wine cellar door, North West. Two white blankets was place over her body and was not place over her head or legs. The blankets was tuck in tight to her body. Her arms was place over her head and her hands was tied with a slip knot cord. There was a cord tied tight aroung her neck and the other end of the cord was tight to a broken paint stick.
Her eyes was close and a small piece of two inch wide black duct tape was place over her lips. Because there was no tung marks on the sticky side of the tape, it was place there just before or right after the time of death.

The placement of the duct tape over her lips may have been a sign or clue to the family, "she will never speak of what she or some one in the family knows".

The killer left other clues in the house that night.

The butler?
I still cant see any sense in the tape on her mouth. It all looks like. "Now what else can I do, that I haven't already done"

To perform a crime on a child like this, one would have to have a mental problem through out his life. To the rest of us, will can not under stand this crime and how he was thinking, so what is done will only be fully understood by a person with this condition.

We can only review the crime scene to make any sense of it.

Profile of the crime scene:

After the killer leave Jonbenet bedroom with her in his arms, he has two choices to walk to the main floor.
One is the front main steps that is located near the front of the house and near the sleeping son bedroom. The other is located to the back part of the house that is 60 feet from the rest of the sleeping family.

The step right out side Jonbenet bedroom would be the best choice and this area was well lite. There was a hallway ceiling light on and Christmas lights on running along the steps hand rails running down to the main floor.

The Police found green foil mix into Jonbenet hair that matches the green foil mix in the stairway hand rail Garland.

As the killer travel toward the basement steps, he has two choices. One path is down the kitchen hall to the basement steps. The other path is located next to the back steps.

This would bring them down 1/2 level into the butler kitchen, past the outside service door then up some steps to the basement steps. The basement door open to the right.

The light switch for the basement is on a wall out side the basement door and is located in the hall way. This light switch would be hard to locate if you did not know the house layout. A neighbor seen some odd light flashing in the kitchen area right after midnight. The two light switches control the basement light and the butler kitchen lights, these are installed as three way light switches. The killer would have to pick and test one of the light switches to see what light it turn on and off. Flashing the house light in this area. The basement lights were found on that morning.

A few steps down and you are in the basement.

1997 DNA found in blood inside JonBenet Pantie
2008 New testing finds DNA on waistband of long john.

Now the DNA matches the 1997 DNA. This means DNA from the same male made contact with JonBenet inside her Pantie and on both sides of her outside long john. Mix in with her blood, not from the surface of her pantie, he made contact from inside her body.

Test other items and his DNA will show up.

DNA on two items and on three places.

Why Christmas?

Our profile predict that the killer had a teaching background. Christmas time, he is off work and travel over this time frame. No one would think it was out of place.

The ransom note stated that the house and family would be monitored. From the profile's place of interest, many items used in this crime can be seen from the side yard. The back stairs were lite with white lights at Christmas time and this light could be used to help monitor the crime and the time the family found the ransom note on the back steps.

Christmas time may mean some thing special to the killer and this time of the year had set him off.

Over the past three years, the Ramsey's set a pattern as to their travels and dinner.

Q & A Question

Question:

"Wow. That is interesting. I guess there wasn't a time problem for the killer."

MarkBeckner:

"The killer also took the time to find a pad and sharpie pen, write a 2.5 page ransom note, fashion a garrote and choke her with it, then wrap her in a blanket with one of her favorite nightgowns and place her in a storage room in the basement. He/she/they then neatly put the pad and pen away and escaped without leaving much evidence."
