You?re very welcome.

Not true to say that I?m not interested in anything you thought at the time.

I?m very interested in the fact that you, seemingly without any evidence, thought the parents guilty.
And, seemingly, you have learned nothing and still think that Brueckner is guilty without any evidence being revealed after 5 years.

That mindset interests me.

I'll tell you what made me think the parents were guilty.  The lies Amaral told about blood in the car.  Supposed to have been 100% Madeleine's blood wasn't it?  Or am I mistaken?  It was the front page of the newspapers here.  I thought they must have done it.  UNTIL I read the forensic report.  It was all a lie.

Absolutely I agree. The forensics told us nothing.A complete red herring.

And I will say that for nearly 18 years the McCanns and all the friends they went to Portugal with have been walking the streets as free men and women, without a single conviction or even charge amongst the lot of them.  So, is their long spell of freedom a measure of their innocence in your view? It would appear not?

Well in defence of my opinion.

The mcs lets say have rather a lot of protection put in place, etc etc

It seems also without a single conviction or even charges in your view

makes them incapable of being involved in what happened to maddie.

It?s all very well having an opinion, but if you can?t back it up with anyhting approaching a plausible , logical theory of how they did it then I?m afraid your opinion is worth very little.   I mean, I could voice the opinion that Madeleine ran away to join the circus and is now appearing on stage in Las Vegas under a pseudonym but without some evidence or plausible theory as to how she got there then I?m sure you?d have to agree such an opinion would be completely worthless as well as completely stupid.

I?m afraid your opinion is worth very little

OK. mr/mrs commonsence

So what backs your opinion up for C B....considering he is a free man - regardless of all the concrete evidence against him.

Bit silly the joining the circus opinion

I didn?t jump to any conclusions, I did however for a very short period of time in September 2007 began to wonder if the McCanns might (despite the complete implausibility of it) have had something to do with Madeleine?s disappearance after all, not based on any evidence per se, but because they were made arguidos.  However, I very quickly came to my senses and realised that it was more than likely they were just being stitched up by the police, aided and abetted by what at the time was a very hostile and myth-peddling media.  This moment of doubt was short lived, and certainly does not amount to the regular to-ing and fro-ing I was accused of by Kizzy, and nor is it evidence of me being prone to jumping to conclusions.  Is that answer fullsome enough for you?

Yes, at the end of the day because they were made arguidos ...you thought the mcs were guilty.

I have never thought C.B. was involved in abducting Maddie -  regardless of the so called overwhelming evidence he was.

Again thou doth protest too much.

Wasnt it the dogs who said there was blood in the car.

Did they find blood in the McCanns rental car?

Three months after Madeleine vanished, specially trained sniffer dogs were flown in to scour the family's vacation rental. Traces of blood were detected inside the apartment and in the trunk of the McCann's rental car.19 Mar 2022

If that mindset truly interests you then I would take a moment for self reflection and ask yourself the same question, 🙋 e: why you persist in the ludicrous belief that Madeleine fell off a balcony to her instant death and the McCanns chucked Madeleine in a bin despite the complete absence of evidence that either of those things happened.  I said and I repeat for the umpteenth time that I had a fleeting moment of doubt about the McCanns innocence based on a bunch of media lies fed largely by a police force out to pin the crime on them, it probably took less than a week for me to come to my senses, but you are still here 18 years later totally committed to your belief in their guilt, apparently since day one, certainly since 2007.  You seem to think inflexible thinking is a good thing, may I ask why?

Do I believe that all crimes are solvable within a limited timeframe. Of course not. Do I believe that a suspect will evade justice if they are not investigated thoroughly, absolutely.

As to the parents. Gerry was not at two places at the one time. By his own witness statement there was time for him to be seen by the Smiths and be back in the tapas bar by the time of the alarm. He was seen by the Smiths at around 10pm and the alarm raised around 10.15 ( by Gerry?s statement ). PDL is a very small village and the distance Gerry would have to have covered is absolutely feasible.

The parent?s attitude to the Smith sighting and their lack of interest in it is also very telling.

Of course incompetence on the part of the Portuguese police played a part if the body was deposited in a bin. Gerry didn?t know that the bins were emptied at a certain time every morning but the police did?and yes there was an element of luck on Gerry?s part but that does not rule it out as happening.

Further if the body had been found and they had found drugs in Madeleine?s system the abductor of course could have been blamed. Gerry needed distance from the body not for the body not to be found.

The body might never have been recovered as the landfill site where it would have been deposited was never searched. You can?t find what you are not looking for.

You mused that charges being brought after a lengthy investigation does not make the suspect innocent?absolutely. Neither does a short investigation.
Sigh.  I proved to you once and for all Gerry could not have been seen by the Smiths back in September last year on this very forum, so your whole premise is based on a complete falsehood.  You really must try harder to come up with a plausible and logical account of how the McCanns dunnit.

Where did you find that quote?

The Supreme Court decided it was his right to state his opinion 'freedom of speech'.  That doesnt't mean he was right.

Yes, it is a bit silly, as I pointed out in my own post, so is the opinion that the McCanns were able to conceal the body of their child in PdL so incredibly successfully that even to this day none of their denigrators can really agree on how, when or why they did it.   As for the evidence against CB, it has been discussed ad inifinitum on this forum for nearly 6 years.  Lace provided a good summary of it a few posts back.

Good summery what L posted ......

OFGS...I think you will find a lot more summery of the mccs contiuall being posted on utube - all recent.

YouTube videos detailing "red flags" in the Madeleine McCann case often analyze the parents' behavior, inconsistencies in statements, and the decision to leave children unattended. Key themes include critical, unofficial theories, such as those from criminal profilers suggesting abduction was unlikely YouTube, and discussions on forensic evidence, including reports about blood traces and the accessibility of the apartment.
