No. You misunderstood. He moves her twice. First on his extra long piss break at 9pm he moves her out of the apartment. The alarm gets raised maybe 9:55, which could easily be described as around 10pm. He moves her again during his search & that's when he's seen around 10:03- 05.

No I didn?t misunderstand.  If the alarm was raised at 9.55, Gerry and everyone rush to the apartment.  How long is Gerry in the apartment until he leaves it again?  Remember he is seen by the pool a few minutes after the alarm was raised, so what time does that take us up to?

It was a family of 9.  7 of the 9 disagreed with Smith that it was Gerry McCann.  If you were wrongly id?ed as a suspect you probably wouldn?t be giving the sighting the credibility it deserved either.  Nevertheless in her book Kate describes Smithman as a criucial sighting and disagrees with the police that Smithman and Tannerman are unrelated.  Of course this was before Totman was id?ed as Tannerman.

You think the sighting lacks credibility? What? The whole thing or just the ID of Gerry? The sighting is very credible unless the whole family were tripping. No  the McCanns obtained e-fits of the man who very likely took thir daughter but they went against the recommendations of the experts & chose not to include them in Kates book or hold a press conference with Clarence Mitchell. It took SY many years later to realise the importance of the sighting & drag the McCanns on to Crimewatch so Kate could demonstrate the curtains again.

I think the witness who claims to have seen him by the pool may have mistaken him with someone else. If the alarm is raised at 9:55 that gives Gerry a couple of minutes to thrash & wail & mess around with the shutters before they split up & search he legs it to where he secreted her earlier, then a couple of minutes later & he's seen by the Smiths.

He was seen by Dianne Webster by the pool minutes after the alarm was raised.  Is she mistaken too?

Yes, about 5 minutes.  But unless he dropped the body the second he passed them he would have had to spend further minute(s) walking in the opposite direction to the Tapas restaurant to find this mythical bin he dumped the body in, then back again.  Do the maths.  The whole operation from the time of the alarm, including collecting the body from it?s first resting place in the mythical bush or hidehole it was stuffed in would have to be a minimum 10 minutes.  The Smiths all say they saw the man no later than 10pm.  Not one of them says it was after 10 o?clock.  There is also a receipt from the last bar they left which shows they paid at 9.49pm, so would have left within minutes of that.  The sighting was just a minute or two up from the bar.

Anne Guedes thought maybe she was initially moved in the bag then maybe the bag broke or it was too awkward, she was small but not tiny, so he was forced to carry her openly. The Smiths did say he looked uncomfortable carrying her.

It's not impossible is it? For some people it's a bit too much to comprehend so it's easier to just trust the McCanns & believe that gangs of paedophiles were out snatching kids from their beds. Something that has never happened in PDL or the Algarve before or since.

I?ve already made that observation.  But in fact it?s only one member of the Smith family you trust.  The one whose memory suddenly improved 4 months after the event.

It?s certainly not impossible when you choose to disregard all the evidence which goes contra to you theory, no.  I don?t suppose many children were snatched from their baths in Tyneside either before or since it happened the one time either, so your last point is moot.
