I think he was.  I base that on my reading of all the witness statements and the fact that a man can't be in two places at once.  You believe Bruckner is telling the truth, a man who has fantasised about abducting and raping a child, a convicted serial child abuser, rapist and thief.  I think that might be a bit naive of you.  What if he isn't telling the truth?

No but there is evidence that he had the means, the motive and the opportunity.  He was interested in taking and abusing small children.  He lived in the area.  The apartment was known to him.  It was unlocked.  He allegedly confessed to taking her to others.  He is a grade A creep.  None of it amounts to proof but it's certainly more evidence than you've got that Kate murdered Madeleine by strangling her and beating her up.

Him allegedly boasting to his mates some years later that he abducted the worlds most famous missing person is more than bit flimsy to really isn't it. It's no wonder he hasn't been charged. But we do know that that there's an abundance of evidence that the McCanns most definitely DID enter apartment 5a that night. So it's more likely they did it really.

This is an unsolvable case for the police because there isn't any evidence, other than the McCanns say so, that Madeleine was alive in her bed & available to be abducted.

Much less, evidence Madeleine was taken in a criminal act by a stranger. 19 years & millions of pounds spent & the three expert investigative forces are still completely unable to prove that the McCanns didn't do it. But let's not be too hasty, let's give them all another two decades & see if they have any luck with the issue after that.

10 minutes isn't very quickly ..is it.. and wouldn't you close the bedroom window that was wide open...seems the frantically searching didn't wake up the twins.
