He may well be correct, Vertigo, but for me there isn't quite enough evidence to prove his scenario at the moment!

It's the evidence that matters. Mr Mccann left the table when all the guests were present. He took an unusually long time on his 9pm check. The alarm was raised prior to 10pm, not at 10:13 like Gerry claimed. Then, Gerry suggested they split up & search & around this time also, the Smith sighting, with all it includes, occurs. Wouldn't you agree that that is what happened based on the evidence I've shown? Because I've read all the case details & that's the timeline I've discovered from my years of wummy analysis I'm afraid.

It will never be proven, but the question is, is it possible based on the evidence I've shown? I think you'll find that sadly, it is.

I know he can write in English so yes he probably speaks a fair bit alright if he has to. I send him fan mail & love letters every week.

Out of all the approximate mess of a timeline in the case, Mr McCann gave an exact, most precise time. No one else really could but him. He must have looked at his watch, then, tried to claim that Kate was searching the apartment for 10 minutes. It doesn't make sense, & if it doesn't make sense then it most likely isn't true.

The problem with this case is some people ignore evidence but go off on flights of fantasy about everything from getaway yachts to gassing poor Maddie half to death, extra abductors & child slave & sex trade so on '& so forth instead of just reading through the witness statements, assessing the overall available evidence & working out what happened & when that way. Don't always just take things at face value. Test the evidence.

Ha ha! I was just thinking about why Smithman didn't speak to the Smiths, Spam!
I suppose both Gerry and Breuckner would have been reluctant to speak and give their accent away.
On the other hand a local resident would have probably smiled and nodded at least?

Yes, he lowered his head, averted his gaze as if he didn't wish to be noticed & went & rudely ignored the polite old lady who felt compelled to enquire about the life status of the visibly deeply unconscious little blonde girl dressed in long sleeve pyjamas.

The majority on here believe there was an abduction, that's how it always used to be anyway but there aint many of us left I haven't done a proper head count recently
