Kate admitted to washing cuddle cat yes, despite claiming she kept it with her because it had Madeleine's smell on it, because it had got dirty with sun cream & sand, & definitely not because it might have smelled like a dead child. An insignificant matter really. What really matters is the sighting of Gerry, carrying a Maddie who appeared to be doing something other than sleeping, off into the night never to be seen again.

I can't remember because it isn't important & doesn't really tell us anything. But she definitely told the media she washed it.

If the McCanns are innocent Kate must have washed cuddle cat sometime after 10.00 on the night Maddie disappeared, would this really be a priority? And does this mean the toy was washed and dried before being put back to bed for the crime scene photos? Doesn't make much sense to me!

No she didn't wash it on the night of May 3rd. It would have been later when they had moved to a villa. After May but before September when they were made suspects.

I must admit I have gained a bit of weight since about 2020, I only swim once a week now instead of almost daily but I'm 6'3" so I carry it well. But I certainly don't class as obese & I've never tried to breed a George Cross either.

No. That didn't happen. Their items weren't seized until after the sniffer dogs came in.

No it wasn't. But it wouldn't have made any difference. The McCanns despite knowing immediately that this was a scene of a very serious crime, these educated doctors invited their friends inside to tamper with the window & everything else. But there's nothing suspicious about it apparently.
