You believe that executing people who rape then murder children is 'an atrocity'? Other than just saying 'it's an atrocity' can you actually give any reasonable suggestion as to why child murderers should be kept in prison fed, watered & cared for for the rest of their Lives? Simply being outraged by the prospect of capital punishment for the most serious offences doesn't really constitute a strong argument against it. I can give multiple reasons for why capital punishment has benefits in some instances.

The intruder, who definitely wasn't Brueckner, that entered Hazel Behans apartment. He was masked up & armed with a big knife. If Hazel had awoken & been confronted by this situation but managed to grab a weapon & she had struck/stabbed the Bruecknerlike intruder as he came at her, then she stopped attacking once the imminent threat was over, but he died of his injuries. That would be a totally justifiable Homicide in pretty much any country in the world. So No. Killing therefore cannot always be considered wrong.

Where do we stand on euthanasia? The patient is extremely ill, in constant immense pain, has no quality of life & is clearly & repeatedly requesting & consenting to a lethal injection? I know that in Switzerland there are euthanasia clinics. A sedation & lethal injection is quite a safe & effective peaceful & humane way to go isn't it....

 So....

..Lethal injection for child murdering rapists wouldn't have to be barbaric or brutal after all. Just a nice peaceful sleep. The old methods of hanging & beheading & so on are the nasty ones that put people off. But if we can euthanise dangerous or suffering animals then I really don't see the problem in euthanising child murdering paedo psychopaths really.
