Again, completely (and deliberately) missing the point.  They bravely faced down all the crap published in the media for many months, the years of  millions of vile public comments online and in real life, the stalking and intimidation, etc by not taking what YOU described as the coward?s way out.  If Arday is a coward then so is Leyland and the McCanns are brave.  You can?t have it any other way really.

Everyone has certain things that they might like or dislike in life. Some people don't like Marmite for example. Some people don't like football. Other people might not like spiders or wasps. That's all absolutely fine. So why is it a problem if I say I'm not that keen on black people? What's the difference?

I don't agree with DEI. It is racist agenda against White people, Chinese/East Asian people & pretty much every other race except black people. I'm sick to the death of the constant barrage. They make up just 5% of the UK population but are rammed down our throats constantly by being significantly overrepresented in media & advertising. I didn't mind black people quite so much before DEI but I've really had enough of it now. If society were operated as colour blind meritocracy that would be the sensible thing to do. The Jason Arday affair proves that shoving black people into positions to further a politically correct agenda has disastrous consequences. Furthermore, Arday's family & friends must have known the guy was full of shit & tall stories, but it appears they didn't dissuade him from perpetuating a bunch of unbelievable falsehoods about his health conditions & incredible athletic abilities. His family are complicit.

Why is none of you rage directed at Cambridge University that didn?t do their due diligence into his claims and who promoted him beyond his capabilities?  You have no idea what was said or done by his family behind closed doors.   Incidentally I believe wholeheartedly in a meritocracy and that only the best people should be promoted, regardless of their ethnicity.   What I?m not in favour of is barring someone from a role because they are the wrong colour, whatever colour that may be.

You?re entitled not to like black people.  I?m not keen on Scottish or Irish people (mainly because of their own anti-English prejudices) but I wouldn?t let my opinion cloud my judgement about individuals, their abilities and suitability for a specific job or role.  I mean some of my best friends are Scottish and Irish, la la la?
